This 202 temporary adhesive for paper patterns is great for applique, dress and fashion patterns. It dries in 5 minutes so patterns can be stored for future use. A warm iron reactivates the glue for the next use. If repositioning, iron to hold pattern in place a second time. It eliminates pinning, won't gum needles or scissors, contains no acid or water, is low odor, does not cause yellowing, dries clear, does not wet paper and does not transfer. 202 is actually two products in one. It is a definitive glue that bonds most materials combined with a granite texture varnish in one product.

VERY temporary
I purchased this to sew patches/badges onto shirts and jackets without having to use pins. The patches are very rigid and the shirts are pretty flexible, as we would hope they would be for comfort's sake. The glue was quite tacky, but it couldn't keep the patches on long enough for me to sew them into place. It worked a little better with the jackets, I'm assuming because the fabric was thicker and less given to moving. The glue did wash off of my hands very easily, and on the parts of the fabric that were not covered by the patch, there is no visible glue remaining, so they did get the "temporary" part right. I just wish it held the patched better.

Not happy with the results
Not happy with the results for this one. I prefer to spray baste my quilts but this one wasn't up to par with some of the others I've tried.

this spray is ok, doesn't hold the paper pattern on the fabric as well as I wanted and needed. If you get it on your hands, hard to wash off...

Good but they forgot to mention they have to be ironed before you cut your fabric. Haven't used because I don't have an ironing board that is large enough for three yards of material Definitely stick to pins!
