Warriors: Tigerstar and Sasha #1: Into the Woods

Warrior Cats has been a favorite since childhood. I'm an adult now but I really wanted to get back into the series and actually try to read it al, as most of my knowledge comes from what others talk about it or animations/art made by other fans, I barely even finished the first arc as a kid lol. Every book they have is a 10/10 in at least one way if not a 10/10 overall. Love this series, hoping to collect all the books someday!

I chose my rating because it is such a good book. Sasha is a poor Kittypet and her owners left her. She goes to live in the woods. She meets a rogue who tells her about wild warrior cat clans who live in the forest. She goes to find those cats and meets a Clan leader named Tigerstar. She catches a frog that his apprentice misses during hunting. Later she falls in love with Tigerstar. She takes him to see twoleg place, and he shows her Shadowclan. He invites her to join his clan. She thinks about the answer, but realizes that he is evil. Then it says "TO BE CONTINUED. . ." Now those of you who have read the warrior series should have know what I was talking about, like the words kittypet and Twolegs , but if not, oh well!

It was so surprising to find out tiger star was meeting Sasha and how it never showed up in any books (I’ve read so far) it was really dramatic and cute I like the character development as well I’m glad she wasn’t just driven by her love to do something bad for him I was expecting something like that to happen very interesting

I was unaware of the Warrior Cat series created by Erin Hunter until recently. I usually do not read books aimed at children but because I am a cat lover and I am also involved in the warrior arts and its philosophy, I started reading some of the books in this series. The first book I read in this “warriors” series was “Warriors: the ultimate guide” and loved it. I just finished reading the (Warriors: Tigerstar & Sasha: Into the woods Graphic novel) Warriors book and enjoyed it, but I did find it to also be a dark theme. In this book Sasha who was a loved house cat with an elderly couple is thrust into a new and frightening life alone outside. All her life she had been an indoor cat, but she was able to go in and out because of a cat door in the house. She would often visit a neighbor’s cat and explore around the area; however, she was still used to the love and comfort of living with humans. Sadly, she realizes she is all alone and enters the woods. She finds plenty of prey to hunt and eat in the woods, but she also discovers there are cat clans. She meets the head of one of the clans named Tiger Star and a new life begins for her. Tiger Star invites Sasha to meet the other cats in his clan, but there are also conflicts and factors that make Sasha suspicious of Tiger Star’s motives. The end of this graphic novel has Sasha confused as to what to do with her life. This ending leaves you wanting to read volume two of this series to find out (Escape from the Forest) what happens to Sasha. I enjoyed reading this graphic novel but I would imagine some children might not like the beginning of this book when Sasha is left alone by the humans. This is actually a very dark story that really has no happy ending which children may not understand. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. this is awesome it's a excellent story my only complaint is that it ended on a cliff hanger i know they do that so you will buy the next book but i HATE it when they do that

5 stars. It was the first warriors manga I have read and found that even the used books looked brand new. I totally recommend this book. Btw, read book 6 then the rise of scourge then this one. It will make a lot more sense.

I love warriors and I think that Erin Hunter team is amazing at making these books realistic and gives you to the readers

Ich finde die Comics (bzw. Mangas) zu Warrior Cats sehr gelungen, wobei es zu empfehlen ist, diese tatsächlich auch Englisch zu lesen, weil sonst Übersetzungsfehler, wie dass ein Schüler auf -fuß statt -pfote endet, auftreten. Die Mangas runden die Geschichte gut ab und erzählen einige Hintergründe, auf die in den Büchern nicht weiter eingegangen wird. Wie hier etwa die Vorgeschichte zwischen Tigerstern und Sasha.
