This shirt is awesome! It is definitely a luxury shirt that is one of the pricier ones I own, but it's adorable, amazingly soft and incredibly light. I'm a custodian who works outside a lot and it's light and airy enough to do light outside work in. It also works amazingly well as a sleep shirt. My dad works at an elementary school and he wants to get some of the more kid friendly designs like the ducks, and I honestly think if you don't let them know the brand name that a lot of these designs would work awesome in kid friendly contexts, including the nessie shirt I got. I think his students would love the rubber duck design. Adults love it too, my sister and co-workers all think they're really fun and cute.It came with a bottle opener as a free gift that I didn't see mentioned anywhere in the description, and I'm a little torn on it. It looks like a great bottle opener, very solid and pretty, it has the cute logo in what looks like durable paint, and it's a very on-brand free gift. If it's your thing, I think you'd be delighted to get it. But on the other hand, I don't drink, and this shirt was pretty expensive even for me who abhors fast fashion and tries to get sturdy clothes even when they come at a premium. I couldn't help but feel like I would have rather had a few dollars off the shirt and had the opener as a side item I could have added. I'll definitely regift the opener to a family member who I think will honestly love it, but I can't help but feel like a lot might unfortunately end up in landfills through no fault of their own because they wound up being given out for free to people who didn't need them.

SECOND UPDATE: NO NO NO Tipsy Elves, why did you change the material????? We LOVED the 52% cotton blend. We ordered another and it is now 97% rayon and 3% spandex. The fit is not the same and the material looks and feels cheaper. With that said my bf wore the new one and still got compliments but we don’t want to order anymore because the material and fit … not! PLEASE PLEASE change it back and get our business back 😞UPDATE: Seriously - every.single.time my Bf wears this shirt he gets compliments. He has never worn it without at least two complete strangers commenting that they love his shirt.I bought this shirt for my boyfriend. I wasn’t sure about sizing so ordered two sizes and ended up keeping his normal size. It is just really fun and looks great on him. The cut is very flattering and the material is nice. The color looks as pictured. He loves it and so do I!! And no, babe. I have no idea what happened to the ugly fishing shirt…..

This review is for the green and yellow rubber duck version of the shirt. Great bright colors, soft material, feels great while you're wearing it. I received tons of compliments on the shirt, many asking the brand and where I got it so they can go buy one. The shirt also came with a little pocket sized bottle cap opener, which is a neat addition. The two issues I have with the shirt that caused it to drop down from 5 stars, is that its a Slim Fit cut shirt, but they don't mention that in the description. So, size up if you're a bigger guy, especially around the belly. The second issue is that this shirt wrinkles like crazy out the dryer. But the good news is that it irons out super quick.

Nice quality, comfy and stretchy material

I got it for my boss as a gift for retiring and leaving and he liked it.

The material is not as nice quality as expected, nor is the sizing. Definitely recommend sizing up a size or two at least prior to purchasing.

I bought my fiancé this shirt to replace some older Hawaiian shirts that he had outgrown. I wanted to pick a shirt that had a fun design and went with the Loch Ness monster option for both the design and the color. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and came out slightly wrinkled, so we probably should’ve ironed it before my fiancé wore it out. But it didn’t wrinkle as much as some other similar shirts he owns. He wears a 2XL and the fit was true to size. The shirt initially seemed long when he put it on, but when paired with his shorts, the length ended up being just fine. But that may be something to keep in mind if you have a shorter torso or legs. The material also has some stretch to it and seemed very comfortable to wear. We have not washed the shirt yet and aren’t sure how it will hold up, but I plan to wash it in cool water and hang it to dry to prevent any issues. Overall, I would recommend this shirt and this particular brand and would be open to getting my fiancé more shirts from Tipsy Elves in the future!
