FishmanLoudbox Dual Footswitch

Bought two of them and they both broke within a week. They were taken care of carefully but both crapped out during a show. They're not made well at all. I recommend the Blackstar Sonnet. Footswitch is much stronger, controls reverb/mute and the amp sounds better.

Worth having for sure, but i wish it would control channel A effects instead of B effects.The wire is crap also, mine stopped working a few years ago. I ordered a new one and then promptly realized I should just solder my own stereo 1/4 jack - so I did. Now, I can use any old 1/4 TRS cable and the box should be good for decades!

Eh....it's great if you only want to control channel B effects. You can't control channel A effects. For a footswitch to only control one channel is pointless. The other on/off button is a mute button. Might use it, might not.I wouldn't be so critical but after spending almost $600 on an amp, Fishman makes you spend an additional $32 for a footswitch that is almost useless.

The only negative feature on the Fishman Artist Acoustic Amp in my opinion is that you need this switch or comparable to cut the "effects" totally off, as I desire as near as possible true representation of the sound of the instrument, that means that this footswitch is required. It does the job and therefore, I rate it highly; as I am quite "particular" with the handling of my equipment, I see perhaps some room for being up the connections for durability yet I will do so when the need arises.

It worked fine for the first six+ months or so but before it was seven months old, the mute button stopped working. It's not clear if a wire broke or the mute switch itself, but the mute switch light doesn't come on and it does not mute any more. I hope it was under warranty, but I suspect not. We only use it a few times a week at most, for church services.

This is a good accessory for the Fishman Loudbox Artist amplifier.

Doesn’t control effects to each channel . Useless , so I returned .

The item worked for one year and five months, then it stopped working. I expect more out of my gear, definitely not happy with this. While it was working I did enjoy the mute button and being able to control effects channel B. By the way it only controls one of the two effects channels. Definitely not the quality of product I would expect from Fishman.

The footswitch is an excellent addition to the Fishman Loudbox which is the best amplifier I have had for acoustic guitar.
