great stock for art prints
Great product!! I use it for 5x7 art photo prints and just finished a 45 count run of a Xmas card (not folded, just a flat print). The matte finish works perfectly in my Epson 8550 even on standard quality, I use the ICS profile from Red River Polar Matte and it prints perfectly. Absorbs ink quickly, good weight and thickness, great smooth finish and very economical per sheet with the fast shipping.

was perfect for my neeeds.
Like the other comments, this is wonderful photo paper. It produces a professional print. I still prefer glossy for some photos but this is excellent for others. So, glad I found it and although I had to pause at the price it is worth it.

I could write sonnets about how much I love this paper
Oh my god. I hate to be overdramatic but this is the best paper I have ever printed on and I am SO SERIOUS. The colors don't lose their vibrancy, everything is crisp and bright and saturated. The texture of the paper is smooth, but isn't too thin so it won't bend easily. The packaging even tells you what side to print on for the best results, which is so awesome because I am kind of a moron! For context, I make and sell prints of my art, and I had originally used glossy photo paper for my small prints. I was a fool...I am literally never going back. If the 5"x7" Arctic Matte Inkjet Photo Paper had 100 fans, I am one of them. If they have 50 fans I am one of them. If they have 1 fan it is MEEEEE. When using this paper, make sure to choose a thicker paper setting to ensure that there is no slipping or anything. For me, I use the canon pixma ip8720 (this diva love her) and I use the ink jet hagaki setting and it works like a charm.

Heavy weight paper, prints great.
Love the paper, but only gave it a 4 Star rating because it would be helpful to have some kind of watermark on the back side of the paper because if you don't pay close attention when you take the paper out of the package, it is very difficult to determine the side to print on. If you print on the wrong side, quality suffers greatly. Otherwise, it is a good matte photo paper.

Great matte paper
This is some very nice matte paper. But like others have said, it would be nice to have some type of print on the non-printable side of the paper. The surfaces are too much alike to the touch. Other than that aspect of the paper I do highly recommend this paper for printing photographs.

Great Matte Paper
This paper is very matte, but also quite smooth. It will have a very partiular look to it. At certain angles, it looks a bit like printer paper with the level of shine and smoothness. But it's still very high quality. If you want something to make your artwork to look textured, this would not be the right paper for you. I think this paper is great for vibrant art.

Wonderful and always a repurchase
Love these. A nice weight for art prints. But it definitely makes a difference what side of the paper you use! Pay attention or leave it in the packaging since they do provide it with a sticker on the plastic slip saying "printable side" Otherwise your print will look washed out if you print on the wrong side.
