can i use this underwater?

No,There is a problem with underwater use, and the machine is easy to scrap.

instructions would be good, anyone know how to use

Yes what do you need to know , it works just like any other orbital DA sander or polisher.

I just recently bought a ZFE 1/2/3 inch obital air sander, and the instructions are not very clear on how to change out the sanding pads,?

If it seems there is no direct way to get the pin in the whole in the inner shaft, you’re right. It takes little bit of luck and persistence. I get it by turning the air speed way down and burp the trigger while inserting the pin. Eventually, you’ll get lucky. Not a bad idea to be wearing safety glasses at the time. It’s sort of a crappy design, but not too much of an issue for me; I just use the 3” disc. The 1” and 2” I use with smaller tools anyway. One of these days, I’ll take it apart and make a mod to it so that I can just hit the outer shaft and then turn the disc counterclockwise to index the inner shaft.

I bought this sander and really like it. i also bought some roloc pads and mandrel. i would like to be able to use the roloc mandrel and pads as well?
