This case, while very simple and not protecting the screen, is an awesome value for the money. It fits the phone very well, and adds a lot of grip to a phone that is essentially a wet bar of soap when it has no case on it. And even though there's no scream coverage, the way the case borders the screen ensures that when not dropped on like a corner of something, the screen doesn't get scratched. Earlier today, I was not paying attention to where I was walking and had my phone in my hand. I walked into a door so hard that my phone just went flying out of my hand. And I when I say flying, I mean FLYING. Something like 8 or ten feet. It bounced on the ground a couple times, but there's no damage whatsoever to my $700 cell phone. Sure, the case has a slight scuff, but it did it's job admirably.

I am very happy with this case. I usually don't buy cases for my phones; I prefer the phones to be smaller and lighter. For this phone, however, I needed a case. The G8 is all glass and is so slippery that if you set it down anywhere that is not absolutely 100% level, the phone will immediately slide down and off whatever surface you put it on. Very irritating. So I bought this case. I am very happy with it. It does not increase the bulk of the phone much at all, but solves the slipperiness problem and protects the glass phone from breakage (I assume--I have not dropped it or let it slip onto the floor since I got the case). Price was great, too.

Looks good works good

This case fits my phone perfectly and looks great. All the button cutouts are perfectly aligned, and the case is nice and slim, just like I wanted it to be. Great case at a great price.

I can safely say that I've accidentally dropped my phone twice from about 5-6 feet off the group and the phone still works. It's cut precisely to fit the fingerprint reader and the rear camera lens. Two things drove my purchase of this case - hard cases tend to slide in and out of my pocket better, and in my area, within a 15 mile radius, not a single cellphone kiosk had a case for my LG G8 ThinQ. I was also fortunate to place my order during a timeframe where I had the case within about 18 hours (I suspect the existence of a fulfillment center within an hour of me is the reason).

The case is decent for the price. It doesn't have a lip on the front so i feel like if I drop my phone face down, the screen will take some damage. I probably would have purchased a different case but for how new this phone is there arent many options. This will do for now.
