Couldn't find OE part
The OE failed in a 2004 Ford Taurus with DOHC motor. Replacement seems to work identically. I've noticed no difference in fuel economy or engine performance. It is *almost* the easiest car repair you could ask for, however the new part is shaped slightly differently than the original and I had to wrestle with it a bit to make sure it had a tight, leak-free seal. The first time I tightened it down and turned on the car, it was leaking gas. Readjusted and now it's been working fine for a few months.

Cheap first try to fix P0193 code
Had been getting intermittent P0193 code on my 2006 Mustang every 2-3 months. It increased to every couple weeks, then 3 times in 2 days. Have used SMP brand products in the past and been satisfied. $40 for made in USA part vs. $15 for Chinese is fine with me. But not going all the way with $120 for original Motorcraft part.So far after a few weeks no more P0193 code, so must have been a failing sensor after 16 years and 150K miles. Seems to run smoother as well at low speed in high gear, had some hesitation before and not now.

Lack of instructions with product leaves continuing check engine light
Product is the same as I could buy from a national auto parts store for 1/5th the price. Shipping was swift. Installation was easy and rather intuitive but there was no instructions concerning of resetting fault code following installation. As a result I continued to get check engine error codes. It was not until and AutoZone employee told me how to reset the system that I stopped getting OBD II codes advising the sensor I had just installed was faulty.

After a quick search on the internet I thought this seems easy enough. checking some local stores that wanted $100-120 ...
I bought a "new" car a couple months ago and the check engine light came on, so i ran up the road and had a reading done and it turned out to be this piece. After a quick search on the internet I thought this seems easy enough. checking some local stores that wanted $100-120 for the part I just happened to search amazon and found it for $80. I think it took longer for my car to die after pulling the fuse to the fuel pump than it did to change this part out. 1 hose, 1 electronic clip, and 2 screws. Did it in the rain in probably 5 min. After that the check engine light went off.

Total Junk, cost me $750 and was stranded at work
Install was easy enough, and cleared my code for fuel pressure rail sensor. Worked for 2.5 days before causing multiple more codes to be thrown. On the 4th day post part change, my car just shut off mid drive.Luckily I was able to coast into a parking spot and restart. After this it would continually shut off. I couldn't even make it to a shop, I had to get help to push the car in.Shop determined the sensor was getting to 250 degrees and shorting battery. They replaced with OEM part and now car runs great. Had to pay for diagnostic and part replacement at auto repair prices.DO NOT BUY! Buy an OEM part.
