Q: I installed this on my 125 coolster and at dead stop full throttle it dies out sometimes . Does anyone know why?

Your fuel mixture is way to rich this carb needs serious tuning out of the box to operate correctly this is not a real minkuni carb as advertised it is a knock off just slightly better than the jink your probably removed. To solve this problem follow these steps. Step1) remove your spark plug after warm up and 10 min run time if it is black at all continue to step 2) order a jet kit ranging from 80-115 step 3) remove the carb and bowl to access the main jet it will more than likely be a 115. Step 4) remove and replace main jet with a progressively smaller jet repeating steps 1,3,4 until you have no carbon on your spark plug ( either completely clean your plug each time or buy a pack to change them always start with a clean plug per jet change) step 5) once your plug is now running clean adjust your needle drop by moving your clip up or down on the notches to get a clean throttle response with no gasp or over rev ( to lean and rpm will seem to last after throttle release to rich it will gasp like it's taking a deep breath before rpm rise ) watch your plug closely during needle adjustment to lean will kill your engine. 6) turn your idle screw in until you reach a high idle and note the position now turn your needle out until the engine acts like it wants to die about halfway in between is where you want your idle to sit 7)have fun with your newly tuned carb. ( Tuning is about patience you will need to disassemble and assemble your carb a few times in order to find the perfect tune for your altitude you can speed up the main jet dialing bye decreasing the main jet size by 10 each time remember to watch your plug. Q: Bought carb now bike wont idle without choke. What do i do

Adjust the air fuel mixture screw on the bottom. In for higher idle and out for lower. Sounds like it needs to goin a full turn or two.
