High quality bed with tons of storage
This is a beautiful, sturdy bed with tons of storage space. I did a lot of research and most of the beds I found with a similar amount of storage looked tacky or were made of particle board that I knew would not hold up (and usually both). This bed is simple and stylish and clearly made of quality material. I’m honestly surprised by how nice it is for the price. You would pay thousands buying this at a furniture store. It does take some time and determination to assemble. The instructions are very clear and the parts are well-labeled, but there are a lot of pieces which should be expected for something with multiple drawers and cabinets. Assembly took about 5 hours for two people so start in the morning! It was easy to align and assemble everything and it came with extra hardware which is always appreciated, just make sure you follow the directions carefully. It’s quiet without creaking and the bed slats are very supportive so it’s comfortable without a box spring. The height is great. I can sit on the bed and my feet just touch the floor which seems ideal.

Assmebly took a while, but well worth it
This bed frame is amazing. I used to own a waterbed with a big storage frame similar to this but a little taller. However, in my move I opted not to bring the waterbed with me. I'm happy with my new mattress, but I though I was going to have a hard time finding a bed frame with a similar storage ability. Then four boxes from Brazil got delivered by UPS.Pros:* Amazing storage capability* The slide-out end tables are a great space saver if this were to go into a smaller room. I put it in a 12' x 15' room with the width of the bed in the shorter dimension and there is still plenty of space to move along the edges of the frame.* It seems very sturdy. Being an American couple, my girl friend and I combined weigh about 500 lbs and it seems very sturdy.* The pictorial instructions are well done* Almost all screw holes are pre-drilled, with a few exceptions* Plenty of extra hardware just in caseCons:* This isn't IKEA (though some might see that as a good thing). Assembly took about 8 hours with one person (though two people are recommended). It's also takes up a lot of space during construction, so keep that in mind.* No instructions on how to level the large storage doors. However, if you adjust the screw toward the edge of the frame it will lower (counter-clockwise) or raise (clockwise) the door.* The end tables don't feel like they could hold very much and are somewhat shorter than I expected, but still very useful -- just don't expect to set a weighty or large lamp on it or anything.Overall, I am very happy with this product, though I've only slept in it one night so far. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update this review. However, given how sturdy the construction seems overall, I don't think I'll have any issues in the future.

Nice Bed, I lie it OK, But...
I bought the white one. My daughter helped me assemble it. Took us 2 good days to accomplish, but was very manageable. Overall, I am reasonably satisfied with the bed. It is sturdy enough with a few exceptions and looks very nice. I do have some comments regarding the materials and engineering of the assembly:(1) To start with it is NOT solid wood! I would estimate that 70 to 75% is MDF, or equivalent. Most of the solid wood pieces are the slats and a few braces. A lot of reviewers must not know what solid wood looks like!(2) The assembly instructions were OK. They were accurate, but one needs to study the pictures very closely. It was often helpful to lay out the pieces and look ahead to where they fit before proceeding. A few words would have helped, but I understand why pictures are the norm now (to avoid the language issue).(3) The assembly plan is OK, but is mostly about lowering the cost. There were quite a few (90 deg) butt joints that would be more secure by using angle brackets. A lot of the dowel pins were smaller than the holes, not a big deal but annoying. Also, a lot of pieces are attached with screws into MDF, no inserts to insure a secure joint. Once together, the assembled bed is sturdy and functional. However, the only way to move it would be to disassemble into the major sub-assemblies. Doable, but painful.(4) The two open bays at the foot of the bed, while looking nice, are a structural problem. If someone sits on the corner (not unusual!) they could break the top bed frame! I have plans already to add a vertical brace to the two unsupported edges. This should be fairly simple (using angle brackets!!).(5) I am not unhappy with this product. It looks great and should last for some time, with the proper care. However, I do believe it is a little overpriced based upon the material quality and the fact that ALL assembly must be performed by the customer.(6) If you are comfortable with significant assembly, don't mind some minor design and assembly flaws, and are willing to somewhat overpay IMO for this product, then go for it. It is a unique design and is very pretty. I am satisfied with it, but knowing what I know now, I would probably look for something else.
