Same thing everyone else is saying but they're being a little dramatic. Sure the leather is stiff, it's leather what do you expect. Discipline your wife or kids whatever is available and break it in and it's fine.

Excellent belt at bargain price, fits 2.5" utility kilt loops nicely
This belt was exactly what I was looking for - good craftsmanship and visual appeal for a budget price that would fit my new utility kilt. I had tried a few other brands but ended up returning them due to poor imprinting on the patterns. This one looked perfect right out of the package and paired nicely with a thistle belt buckle. Band width was perfect and had no issues fitting through the loops. The part where the band folds over (with the velcro) does stick out a little bit at first but this subsides with wear.Other reviews have indicated that the material is very rough and unforgiving. Initially out of the bag, yes - this may be the case. Thinking about how many months this has been sitting rolled up in a package at the manufacturer or Amazon warehouse, not surprised that it's going to hold that shape for a bit. Just like any leather item (whether high-quality hide or not), it is going to take a bit of conditioning to get it to how you want it. You are dealing with a $20 mass produced product, not a $75 hand fashioned one.

This is a very solid adjustable kilt belt. It looks great with my new buckle.

Thick belt.
Because of it being folded, the crease from the fold won't go away.

Needs instructions on how to use this with the buckle. I wrote the company and have heard nothing in over two weeks.

Scottish Thistle Belt
Very sturdy kilt belt with thistle and Celtic patterns. Put a thistle pattern belt buckle on it and no one will confuse you as Irish. Goes well with my Pride of Scotland kilt.
