Leucothoe Fontanesiana 'Girard's Rainbow' - Live Plants Shipped 1 to 2 Feet Tall by DAS Farms (No California)

I LOVE my shrubs. I planted some of these six years ago and they have grown so beautifully. They are beautiful all year long. I hate plants that look dead in winter, and these do not disappoint. One of them was killed in a landscaping accident and I was so sad! But I was relieved to see he was still selling them and bought a replacement. I was pleased with the size and health of the plant I received. Of course it's not a full-grown shrub, it matched the item description. It was carefully packaged with good instructions.

This low-growing, shrubby-habited plant came to me with two long branches standing straight up. Not what I expected by the description of a “2-3 foot shrub.” I mean, yeah, it’s technically 2-3 feet tall, but it’s NOT a shrub. I can’t think of a bed in which this particular leucothoe will look anything other than silly. A shame, because I love these deer-resistant beauties! It seems healthy, which is the only reason I’m giving it 3 Stars.

Looked surprisingly good and healthy. Came faster than expected. Well packed. Very nice. Planted the day they came. Hope they thrive, because these were very nice shrubs.

I was really surprised to see how they looked after shipping in a box. Awesomwe, It's been 6 months and they survived the winter with no issues. Lets see what spring brings!

Seems to be the perfect evergreen plant for underneath a smokey purple cotinus that is limbed up.

I ordered this with a little hesitation; I didn't know about ordering flowers online but it came and it was packaged great; not a leaf out of order. I planted it and it seems to be growing beautifully.
