Good practice knives
My son is using them for his mixed martial arts class including a kata and a flow drill. They seem to be holding up well. I would recommend them.

Good for learning stabbing defense, although you might want to clip the tip.
Several reviewers noted that these trainers are of fantastic quality, others complained that these trainers are of horrific quality. Let us be specific: These trainers are floppy, flexible rubber that are good if you are concerned about hurting training partners when stabbing, but they are not for high impact training. These trainers are not tough. They are not "high quality" (unless you were looking for floppy, which we were). Several "plastic" or blunted metal trainers are sold that are way better if you are looking for trainers that are not going to break with rough use.Having said the above, we were looking for decent flexible training knives that would bend if someone messed up a knife defense, and these have worked great in that context for us so far. The tip was surprisingly pointed (I know, a pointed knife, who would have thought), so we clipped the tip with scissors to blunt them.

Good low cost training knife
I bought 16 of these knives for class and it looked exactly like the photos and was overall a good product.I used the more expensive Revgear black training knives and those were heavier with a "sharper" blade, which is excellent, but slightly more dangerous during classes because they didn't bend if you were stabbed. At least if a training knife bends you don't get as many bruises. BUT, I like the Revgear because it makes a point that you don't want to get stabbed.Anyway, these low cost training knives worked great. Perfect size. The tips were not sharp and it bent slightly so you don't get hit too hard, so it's great for beginners. And the quality was fine.I haven't noticed too much of the silver paint chipping off, but I really don't care if it does. I'm not filming a movie.

Very effective and realistic tool
I use this tool during my Decision Making Drills training with armed church security personnel, it is a very effective tool and helps students develop situation awareness, and they come away from the training with much more appreciation for how deadly a "little knife" can be and how it can be concealed anywhere. If you search for "Gentle Response Training" on Youtube, you'll find short promo videos of the training seminars my team and I have done.

Looks realistic but paint chips away fast
I used this for a cosplay and loved it! It looks realistic and had some good weight to it that made it look and feel more real. I did dock a star because of the paint quality. It didn't even last the few days of the convention without starting to to chip away in several places. I'll have to repaint it myself.
