Excellent shaving brush. It is soft on the face and makes a good amount of foam. I like the synthetic hair because it requires very little care. It is easy to hold and the handle is a beautiful mixture of purple and translucent red. I am very happy with this product and think it is a great deal. I would bu6 it again and recommend it to my friends.

The brush itself is nice, soft tips with a moderate backbone. The only issue I have is the handle feels very cheap, like gumball machine cheap. It works, but it doesn’t feel as nice as a more solid handle. Still though, for the price it’s not a bad buy.

Great performance a real lather maker. Perfect knot size and super easy to use and clean. On top of that really good looking brush too!

The very last bullet of product information states the the color of the handle may be different from photo. The red and blue photo looks very classy…… I figured other selections would have two colors if different from the display. The one I received has a sloppy strip of orange and clear plastic. It looks like a discount store bargain item. It works great ….but is definitely put away in the drawer….out of site!

A waste of my money! The handle fell apart two weeks after purchase! I did like the knot. Very disappointed!

Right now, this is my favorite brush. I have 4 synthetic brushes and they all are fine. I could live fine with any one of them. I've been using the G4 Frank's for the past few days and really liking it. Of the three elements of a shave; lather, razor and blade, I think lather may be the most critical. With minimal face prep and really good lather, I can get a good to great shave with almost any blade and razor. Without face prep and a good lather, I never get an acceptable shave.I have tried boar hair and badger brushes; cheap ones, and never really liked them. All of my synthetics were under $20 and all are great. But this one is now my fave. Gobs of quality lather, fast.

The brush is softer than a Wilkinson. The handle is poorly designed. Each colour is an individual piece all glued together at the bottom. The glue failed and now the handle is falling apart, after 3 weeks of use. Also I am not confident that it is real badger hair.

This synthetic brush makes lathering your favorite soap or cream so wonderful. Love how the colorful resin handle looks on my vanity resting in my brush holder. Great value!

I had heard good things about the Frank Shaving G4 knot and it is indeed a very nice synthetic knot.I can't in all honesty say the same about the handle though. It's made of lightweight plastic segments held together by the base and top collar. It just looks and feels a bit cheap and nasty. The bubbles in the plastic don't help either.Not that I was bothered since I only bought this for the knot. I had 3D printed my own handle and it was a lot cheaper to buy this complete brush from Amazon than the knot alone from the Frank Grooming store on Aliexpress, which is a bit daft. With the 15% discount code I only paid £5.85 which was great value compared to over £13 for the knot alone. It seems to have gone up in price since though.Luckily it all came apart quite easily (very little glue) and I was able to extract the knot without damage and use it elsewhere.No complaints about the service from Amazon - free delivery in a few days to my local Post Office, with no minimum order value requirement. Can't beat that.

So, this is a lovely looking brush, despite what others have said about the handle looking cheap and nasty, which I don't understand - it looks EXACTLY like the photos, so you'd have known that at the point of ordering. Ignoring that, the pros are:- It has some height, unlike some other brushes that get lost in shaving bowls because they are designed for midgets- Looks good on the shelf- The G4 knot is beautifully soft- The knot has great "spread"...which brings me to the cons:- The G4 knot is exactly why I probably won't be shaving with this brush at allIt is just far too soft, with no backbone whatsoever. By contrast I use an Omega Boar bristle for hard soaps which gives good bristle stimulation and bite; this by contrast feels like a silk cloth lightly gliding across your face. So if that's your thing, you'll LOVE this brush, for others (like me) who prefer a more direct and aggressive shaving experience, you'll be far more meh
