Tiny but Mighty, Perfect for Little Projects!
The STAEDTLER FIMO Professional Clay is a bit smaller than I’d hoped, but hey, good things come in small packages, right? I decided to put it to the test by sculpting a little white cat, because why not? It was the perfect excuse to get creative and pass some time, and the results were pretty adorable if I say so myself! The clay itself is really nice to work with. It’s firm but pliable once you get it warmed up, which made it easy to shape without getting too sticky or falling apart. I was initially worried it wouldn’t be enough for anything meaningful, but I ended up with a cute cat sculpture and even had a little leftover to experiment with. I’d say it’s the perfect amount for small projects or little accent pieces. Once baked, it hardened really nicely, and the porcelain finish looked almost like ceramic, which gave my tiny cat an impressive, professional-looking vibe. If you’re like me and love to work on little creative side projects, this FIMO clay is a great choice, just be prepared for its size, because you might end up wanting more once you start having fun. Now my only problem is resisting the urge to make an entire collection of little white cats, although, honestly, that doesn’t sound so bad!

Exactly what I was looking for
Not too expensive and it was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a bit tough until you work with it for a long time, I wanted it for making clay figurines. I made something silly to make sure it works and it does. All you have to do is stick it in the oven for a bit and it hardens nicely.

Great quality polymer clay
I love this brand. It's so easy to work with and I've had zero issues with crumbling or cracking. It's not too hard and not too soft which is helpful for shaping. One of my favourite brands of clay.

Retains detail
This can be for beginners, but I’d probably recommend using the Fimo soft to practice with so you’re not wasting professional clay on practicing...I do however think that if you’re making a more detailed piece then I’d go for this Clay as it holds more detail! After discovering this professional standard Clay, I haven’t stopped using it and use it in all of my projects! It’s quite stiff but that allows more detail to be retained. Beginners will find this fairly easy to use too and will probably enjoy the process of making things a lot easier and enjoyable! The cost for an 85g block is really good and it lasts me ages. I also love the colour mixing system these clays have!
