Great tool and saves $
It had everything needed to reach 40 foot high branches. We used a light twine (not included) to throw with, then attached to the handle to pull over the branch. Definitely you need to stand fully extended, two people, pull lightly, and quickly with short strokes. If it gets stuck, flip it up while the other person pulls. Do not let the rope get in the cut. Much harder to get out. We cut fairly large branches. Don't give up, it will work. The manufacturer could put more blades and closer together. That would eliminate getting stuck occasionally, which we had to work back and forth until the wood that the saw was caught on broke free. Not easy, but take a rest once in a while. Overall, worth the money.

Difficult to use
To test this out, I tried it on a lower branch. Lucky thing. The saw blade kept binding and was difficult to make a cut. It got jammed at one point and couldn't be pulled loose. I got a ladder, climbed up, and pried it loose. I got it to cut out dead branches high in the tree. I'm worried that if I did, it would get caught and I would have to wait for the branch to naturally fall and free the saw. (Years later.) In retrospect, I wouldn't buy it.

Good saw
Good for high hard to reach places. The rope on one side of the saw snapped after a few uses on a pine tree. Wished it had lasted longer. Will have to but another one. Will try a different company to see if they will be more durable.

If you must.
The chain works fine. The tossing bag lasted 4 tosses and then started to rip apart. The weight isn’t worth squat so I put a rock in it.They could do a lot better.

High tree limb rope chainsaw can reach the highest tree branch
I like that I can trim tree branches high up in the tree without getting on a ladder. It cuts rapidly through a branch.

Perfect
We cut branches about 18-20 inches thick15-20 ft high. Cut through fairly easy. Make sure to space yourselves far apart for better cutting action and ease

Easy to Bind
The chain binds in the cut too easily even when 2 people are sawing.A poor throw may catch the knot in the rope at the chain in the branches making it very difficult to retrieve. The chain cuts very fast when cutting.

It works!
Sometimes would get stuck. Little sandbag tears off easily. Does the job for now
