What to Doodle? At the Zoo (Dover Little Activity Books)

THE GOOD: -none THE BAD: -small size -poor quality THE BOTTOM LINE: This book is so small in size it just looks like a pamphlet. I am highly disappointed in the quality. And shipping was way too expensive as compared to the size of this useless thing. GARBAGE!

Okay, the idea for this book was cute, but maybe not executed well. First of all, it is pretty small. This book is less than 6 inches tall. The size could be a good thing if you want to keep it in your purse to have available to entertain your toddler at the doctor's office or restaurant. It's not only tiny, but hard to keep open. It does not open easily like a coloring book. This makes it difficult for a child to actually complete the drawings and be able to color them after. For a $1.50 it is not a bad deal, but I would not pay more for it. I give it 3 1/2 stars.

I bought this for my five-year-old niece, who is going through a phase where she loves to draw and color but doesn't get particularly inspired by a plain blank page. This book prompts her imagination and keeps her going.I also bought "What to Doodle? Everyday" and "What do Doodle? At School." I was thrilled at the price, because even with Prime shipping, these cost less than the average coloring book, and they keep her occupied a lot longer. I was a little surprised at the size, though - I didn't realize these are "mini" books, only about 5" tall (see photo).Still totally pleased with this purchase, and I'll likely be ordering more once she's burned through these. Thanks, John Kurtz, for making such fun and enriching little books for my artistic niece!

Bought it for my toddler and hope it’s easy enough for her to learn some drawing but this is a little hard for her.

My child loves this book of learning to draw. It helps her to learn to draw.

Ordered two of these books. One came in perfect condition, the second less so. It was bent and actually dirty on the cover. I had to try and wipe off the dirt and clean it off before giving to the kids. The kids loved the activities and it's a great cheap booklet to tuck into our bag for long trips.

This thing is so much SMALLER than it looks on here, it's got to be like 4 inches long...but my 8 year old still loved it!

It's a cute little colouring book. Not much else to it. Each two sets of pages share a common theme or animal. It's meant for colouring, so the pages inside are more like regular paper, rather than glossy.Yes it's small. Honestly, I didn't read the reviews first. So I was surprised when I saw the size. But for the price, should have been expected. Measurements are in my photos. It's basically the size of a McDonald's happy meal book.Bought this for $2. Bought two of them, one for each of my kids. Yes it's small, but it's also $2, so that's ok.

My almost 4 daughter LOVES working on this little book. The activities are just right for her age and interests, and the simple, adorable drawings really grab her attention. I read her the question, and she draws her answer. Very cool idea for practicing dexterity and creativity. I plan to buy all the other 'what to doodle' books and some for gifting as well.

I got this book as an add-on to an order due to the price. It was much smaller than I expected (about the size of a standard photo) but that was just an oversight on my part and explains the pricing.The pictures are pretty cute and give good ideas for doodling. They are cartoon-y enough that younger kids could draw them.

tiny book with very little in it - at least it was not expensive = should take my 4 year old about 1/2 hour and i will be finished
