Strictly Rhythm, Vol. 1

I'm a big Johnny Hiland fan, but this book (pamphlet?) is pretty bad. First off, it's amazingly short...literally just a few pages of lessons. What's most frustrating is the tablature is not the same as what he is actually playing on some of the audio tracks. On the recorded examples, he is playing some cool parts, but none of those parts are notated. What you actually get are the basic rhythm patterns without the cool parts and embellishments he is actually playing. In my opinion, this book is not worth the money.

Very good stuff...but i thought it came with dvd..because i seen johnny playing the riffs in add..but im still happy with paperback

It may feel short on content but what's here is dynamite and I've never seen anyone address a Ray Price shuffle directly. Worth every penny!

In Anbetracht der Virtuosität des Autors,werden sie sich für das Buch Spieler interessieren, die eher Fotrgeschrtitten sind. Aber das angeboten Material ist für diese ziemlich mager. Ich hätte mehr erwartet!
