Not only you can save up to 80% by using your own favorite coffee, you also help save the environment from being polluted with plastic cups. The innovative Decaflo Spray Head combined with our proprietary Micro Foil filter pattern give you a perfectly brewed cup of rich and full-bodied coffee every time. Review: Still works great after over a year of use every day, helps me recycle coffee grounds too - 7/6/15....Update....I have owned this well over a year. i use it 2 times every day. the Gold electroplating is long gone, but the screen is still fully intact and works perfectly. I do not wash it after every use. In fact I have never really washed it. I rinse it between uses and sometimes soak it in soapy water. I have also found that it is handy to keep a plastic Folgers can ( I do not drink Folgers, but the cans are fantastic, and I can get 'em free at work). i can take the little screen cup and tap it a few times on the little indentation of the Folgers can inside and it knocks out all the grounds. Then when the can is 50 % full I put the used grounds on my garden or in my compost pile. Everyone that visits and sees this loves the idea, so I figured I would share it here. As to the product, I would have given up on my Keurig by now if not for this. Those little cups are pretty expensive for my 3 cup per day habit. this makes wonderful coffee quite affordable. I buy $10 per pound coffee. I would not want to brew a whole pot of it at a time but having a great fresh cup of coffee every time is perfect. Keurig is a great little device, but lets face it the coffee is expensive, and well it is average at best. This cup lets you use coffee shop quality fresh ground coffee in your maker. I buy Churchills hazelnut. I set it for coarse ground at the store grinder. I go through two $9 bags per month drinking 2 16 oz cups of coffee made super strong, every day. It costs me $0.15 per 8oz cup. At the strength I like, 8 oz is all the Keurig prefilled cups would do. I adore this filter. With coarse ground, there are no grounds in my coffee, unless I fill it too full and get some grounds in an area they do not belong prior to closing the filter lid. I save my coffee grounds for my garden and a quick rinse between batches is all the cleaning this little guy needs. It is moderately more work than a paper filter coffee maker, but the coffee is superior as well. Update...over a year of use two times per day and it still works great. The gold is nearly gone from the screen. Other than that it is perfect. I have found that when grinding the beans, if you grind them finer, you get a stronger brew with this. So if your Keurig does not brew strong enough coffee, fine ground in this will help. It does let some fines pass through. But not stick in your teeth amounts. Just a little thick stuff in the bottom of your cup. I tend to enjoy that part just as much. Review: Easy to Clean & Easy to Use But A Little Expensive Compared to Similar Items - (Still A Great Buy!) - This little device works like a charm. It is well constructed and has stood up well to heavy use. Coffee quality is identifical to Keurig Cups in terms of strength and lack of grounds. The key difference between this cup and a Keurig Cup of course is that you can make a cup of coffee far more cheaply depending upon how cheaply you can purchase your bulk coffee. (It's all up to you in this area.) These cups are best suited for couples that have different tastes in coffee. You can brew a cup just as cheaply as when you use a pot but you don't have to compromise on which coffee you are going to drink. (Each of you can use a different coffee.) It is also GREAT for if you want an afternoon or evening cup without having to brew a whole pot! My only concern with this product is that you can buy it much more cheaply at a big box store. You can probably get it for about $5 less somewhere else. I thought about giving this item 4 stars based upon it being a little too expensive but you will make this back almost immediately by using your own coffee.

Thank You Solofill!
At the time of this writing, Keurig does not make a "My K-Cup" equivalent for their Vue coffee system, which I happened to receive this past Christmas. I did some research and found the Solofill V1 Gold Cup which does for the Vue what My K-Cup did for all of the other Keurig systems - it lets you make a cup of coffee using your own coffee! Now I can spend $13 on a container of coffee that makes 290 cups of coffee, as opposed to spending $11 for 16 Vue packs. Thanks Solofill! My only complaint is that the lid doesn't "snap" closed. Sometimes I worry that I put too much coffee in and the lid will open just enough to spill grinds into my cup while the machine is brewing. However, this isn't a defect in as much as it is personal preference. The Solofill works well; does what it's supposed to; saves you money. What's not too really like? Update: Six months using this now and still no issues. It still does what it's supposed to and I've learned not to overfill the cup and my coffee comes out just fine each and every time. Highly recommend if you've got a Keurig Vue system.

Good accessory for Keurig V-Cup machines
Some may consider it pricey, but I think it adds worthwhile flexibility to a V-Cup machine. Most of the advantages are obvious. It allows use of coffees outside the V-Cup ecosystem. It's much cheaper per cup, if that's your main concern about V-Cups. I'd bet that the cost of the item could be made up pretty quickly on that basis alone. It's "Green." It's "double V-Cup size," which allows additional strength control. It does work on the V-500 machine (not just the larger models). On the "negative" side (if you want to call it that), it's a little more work than using the pods (but it's still much easier for making a cup or two than using an electric drip, and then having to wash a carafe and a full-size mesh filter). Despite negative comments that I've read regarding its lid breaking off, grounds in the cup, or problems fitting or operating with the Keurig machine, I've experienced none of those (yet). It's nicely made. After using my first one several times, I bought a second one. The four-star (vice five-star) rating is only to allow for some future problems. I've had none yet.

Works like a charm!
This filter makes a great cup of my favorite coffee which is much less expensive than using the Keurig cups. The flavor is similar to that of coffee made with a coffee press. Yes, there is sediment at the bottom of the cup, but that is inherent in the use of coffee presses. The filter is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean. It would be awesome if Keurig included the filter with the Vue coffee maker like it does with the K-Cup. If saving money without compromising quality is important, then I highly recommend this product.

Saves you money, what's not to like? Super fast shipping it literally came in one day! Coffee isn't as strong when brewing but we just use the same batch twice and all is good. Like I said it saves money and with these machines and the price of the vue packs it's 5 stars from me!

I would have never got my vue if i couldnt get this which is only for a 16 or 18 oz coffee for grounds out of a bag. IT SAVES MONEY AND GIVES YOU ENDLESS CHOICES.Only works good when filter is right full or you will get grounds in your coffee and is clean.
