Great for connecting "smart" gadgets to your router
I'm using this to connect my router, an Airport Express, to my Philips Hue hub. There's no reason to get anything longer, as they're right next to each other and I hate when wires are all over the place.Quality-wise, they coating is pretty thick, but will bend if you need it to. Snaps right in, too. Only problem, and this is extremely minor, is that 2 of the 5 wires seem to be a little difficult to disconnect. The plastic release is offset from the rubber "button," enough to where you have to push really hard to get the wire disconnected. It's really not a big deal at all, considering I had 3 perfect ones and those 2 weren't impossible, just slightly inconvenient.Overall, they do exactly what I needed and I'm really happy with it.

Cat 6 patch cords.
They cleaned up the mess of long cables the cable and network provider left me with.

They work, no flaws found
Perfect for switch<->router<->panel patches between 1u devices in a rack. Haven't had any quality issues and have pushed 1 g/s through them in large file put/get transfers.

Good quality cables. I could have constructed them myself but it is time consuming and time is money.

Works Fine. Room for Improvement.
UPDATE 12/21/14: All still work fine, though I don't shift most of them around too often. I've moved to a place where I must use the ISP's modem, and the LAN cables don't seem to affect things too much anymore. It must have been peculiarities of the modem I used when I first bought these cables. They are still a bit stiff and mold in the shape of however you leave them plugged in and dangling, but they're still a value for money.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It was time to upgrade to a gigabit environment when simultaneous streaming and downloading seemed to knock heads once too often. This did the trick, and the different colors help with the frequent cable movements and changes I need to make.Still, the cables are a bit stiff, and only time will tell if the average, soft-feeling locking tabs will hold up. So far so good, but I don't see any exceptional quality, just enough to do the job.Perhaps the oddest thing I've noticed is something that I'm unsure if it's caused by these cables or my router. These seem to work fine in all the LAN connections around my house (media streamers, wireless bridges, computers, etc.) but for some reason simply WILL NOT work with my WAN connection. An old Cat5E cable fills this gap, which disappoints me. It doesn't seem to be a loose connection issue, since I've pushed and held them in without improvement. And it's ALL of them. Weird.Get these if you need immediate, low-cost gigabit network performance now.

Great product.
I liked the protection of the release tab so it does not catch on things if you have to pull it through a nest of other wires.

The Basics
It's a patch cord, what more do you want. Excellent value for the price. We use them to connect laptops to controls at water pumping stations so they get used and abused a bit from getting tossed around in the work rigs. The end connectors tend to hold up just as well as the more pricey models; meaning if it tangles with a 50 lb pipe wrench you better have a spare. Which is why we buy the multipacks. Never had issues with the ones used in a more permanent installation.
