A bit on the larger size which has some benefits for storage, but your pocket (front or back) must be able to accommodate the size. With the size being larger than most 'regular' men's wallets, if your pocket isn't deep enough, it may slip out of the pocket. In pants of mine with a more shallow front pocket, this wallet slipped out when I got into my car.Love the slots -- which are stiff at first (I presume they will relax/stretch with age). The larger size will accommodate papers as well as money of various sizes (think of foreign (to USA) bills). Zipper is a great feature to hold some papers or extra cards in place without fear of losing them.

Got this as a replacement for my previous Hipster wallet. The nature of the design helps spread out the overlapped layers of credit/ID cards & cut down on the "Dad wallet" syndrome. [NB: I remove the little plastic card-holder gizmo, as this defeats the purpose of the design, altho' some might want to use it for photos. I've never understood the appeal of sitting on a bunch of my friend's faces, and nobody needs to do that anymore now that our phones are more advanced than the Apollo moon lander's computers...]The card slots, etc on this were a bit tighter than my original wallet, but that's to be expected by something like this which is by its very nature, mostly hand-assembled and therefore prone to more variation than something made w/ robotic manufacturing methods. I'll take the human element, thank you very much. :-)Update: OK, 1.5 years on and the card dividers are worn to the point that the cards are slipping down inside the wallet. Nothing has come *out*, which is of course the important thing, but overall, 1.5 years life out of a wallet is about all I've come to expect from something at this price point. NB: it would probably have lived a little longer if I didn't absolutely fill all the slots, but that's the way I roll. Still happy with my purchase, and from examining my order history I see that my previous hipster wallet also died after about 1.5 years in hip pocket hell, so there you go! I'm due for a replacement... :-)

I like the hipster wallet because it holds all of my credit cards and other credentials I carry on my person. At first I thought that the compartments were too tight because it was hard to put the cards in and take them out. But after about a week, the leather became more supple and I realized that the initial tightness was by design. I am glad I bought two of them (black and brown)

the wallet did NOT arrive("guaranteed delivery" in two days, as advertised. The wallet is OK, but it smells horrible, as if it had been doused in cleaning solvent. After one week, it still stinks, although not as badly as before.Perhaps in a month or so it will air out enoughso it can be used.

Lots of credit card slots....too bad the credit cards don't fit. Those that do, are so tight I ripped the leather trying to get one of the cards out of the slot. I guess Chinese credit cards are smaller in size, can't return it now.

I love this configuration. It does wear rather rapidly, but at this price that's no problem. I usually buy three or four at once and get maybe a year out of one. My only concern is that they'll stop making them.

I gave it two stars because it was the wrong card case for me. It looked pretty good quality for the price but was much to large for my pockets. Probably would be a good buy for a purse carrying person
