We currently use this on our wood deck with a solo stove on top of up. So far it has protected our deck from excessive heat and sparks. The size was as stated and seems like it’s a quality product. Cleaning is as easy as rinsing it off with a garden hose. Highly recommended!

Works perfect for the fire pit on our top deck

I have new pavers in my backyard and wanted to protect them from damage while I use my offset smoker and Big Green Eggs. I needed a product to stay flat, could take some burning embers and ash, not absorb grease, folded well for storing, and is easy to clean. This mat absolutely covers all of this criteria. I now have several of them and create a six foot perimeter around the smokers and working tables. After several cooks, not one paver has been burned, greased, or damaged. I am very impressed with these mats. I am a verified buyer, not a writer.

Nice, silicone coated Tarp. Kept the embers off the lawn, but didn't stop the grass from getting singed under the firepit. Had to buy the "heats shield" that hangs under the firepit to stop that, but the combo works well together. It would be really nice if it fit in the bag with the firepit.

Nice heavy duty fire mat for under a camping fire pit in the wilderness. Improves safety significantly, very sturdy in construction.

We put a fire pit on the deck. If you do this recommend users pavers as well. Mat is fire resistant, not fire proof.

地獄の業火レベルでは焚き火してませんが芝生へのダメージはなさげ。 ちなみに焚き火台はスノピ社のスタンダードなヤツ。 火の付いた薪の塊が落ちればシートは焦げる。 気付くのに遅れると多分穴が空く。 綺麗な状態で使用は出来ない代物です。 日本人でウッドデッキで焚き火なさる人は極稀だと思うけど背の高い焚き火台ならこのシートでもいいんじゃない？ 地面ギリギリの焚き火台で地獄の業火レベルの火を焚くってことはしない。 たかだかペラペラのシートにそんなの求めちゃいかんよね。 私は芝生へのダメージ軽減と焚き火台の灰の後始末が楽になればと思ってこのシートを買いました。 おかげで、灰の処理は楽チン芝生も守れて良かった。
