Bird's Eye Pepper Flakes (16 Ounce)

These were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted pepper flakes that were hotter than jalapeño, but not quite as hot as habanero. These provide that perfect medium heat, and blend in well in Asian dishes like stir-fries, noodle dishes, etc.

My favorite Thai restaurant has a spice rack where you can request extra pepper for your entree, but they don't disclose what it is. This pepper is the closest I've found to their mystery spice, offering great heat and flavor. This is one of the 11 herbs and spices, among thai cuisines & deserves its own spot among the greats.

Just what I was looking for. When ever I go to a Thai restaurant I always ask for there condiment tray. It has a pepper paste and crushed birds eye pepper. It is finer grind then the pepper you put on your pizza and has much more kick and great flavor. I stoped using regular crushed red pepper this is much better.

What else is there to say? Water is wet and these flakes are fire.

Took me a long time and wasted money buying subpar chili flakes. These are hands down the most flavorful crushed chili flake you can buy. There hot, but a little goes a long way.

I wanted something a bit spicier than red pepper flakes to make my meals a little better, but this just was not it for me personally. They're hot, and that's nice. I feel my lips burn a bit after eating with them. But Red Pepper flakes are nice because they add a bit of flavor on top of spice. Here it's just heat, 0 flavor. If you want your meal hot, these do it. If you want a hot seasoning, look elsewhere.
