Craftsmanship Worthy Thread
I used a heavier size gauge but I also bought heavy duty wide needles for repairs to a thick braided rug. I always make my beginning knots using my index finger to wrap the thread around a couple times before rolling it off my finger into a knot, so making a beginning sewing knot was easy. Because I picked a heavier gauge thread, that was the easiest way to knot before starting to sew. Tangling wasn't an issue for the same reason although I'm always careful when sewing by hand. It's craftsmanship worthy thread available in different sizes to use for a variety of different applications. This gives it suitability for most crafting jobs. I recommend this thread. I chose the second largest thickness. The braided rug repair images are attached. It turned out beautifully.
