The connectors fit snugly and securely into both my servos and receiver without any modification. The 7cm length is just right for tight builds where space is limited — short enough to avoid unnecessary clutter but long enough to provide some flexibility. Shortest Y's I've come across.
Used on ailerons for RC aircraft. These are really short but with typical servo lead wires gauge connection. Not Park Flyer type.
