Great Quality & Good Value Projector.
After a bit of research, I settled on that particular projector cause the reviews seemed good and there was a lot of details to them. I've had a projector in the past (BenQ) which cost twice as much as this one and I can say the quality is really good for the price. I like that I can set up the projector in one spot and adjust the picture size directly from the settings. The picture quality is obviously best in a totally dark environment but it is also okay with dimmed lights. Daylight viewing isn't really working here but it won't with most projectors. I am projecting in a white wall art the moment but I'm sure with a screen, you will get an even better quality (I've provided a picture in different settings). I have mine plugged in with speakers so I can't vouch on the sound quality, although I would imagine it's okay for recreational purposes. The set up was really easy too, pretty much works straight out of the box and the menu is easy to navigate with various settings that will allow you to personalise your viewing experience. The fan is a bit noisy (my previous one was too and most projectors will be) but once you're watching something, it isn't noticeable. It does get a bit hot as you can imagine it would but I've had it on for several hours and I haven't noticed it getting hotter with continued use. Bear in mind you will need a couple of AAA batteries for the remote. Overall it is a really good projector, good build quality, good image quality, easy to use and set up and great value for money.

Great value-for-money projector
I bought this projector for occasional movie-night use. The projector is larger than I expected, but still easily portable. It is really simple to set up and use. I connected my Android phone wirelessly using a Chromecast, but it is possible to connect using a slimport wired connection or similar (neither are supplied). Everything worked right away and I watched a movie from Google Play on my living room wall. Although the wall was a pale beige colour and not white, the colour rendition was very good and picture sharpness, resolution and brightness were all good. Pixellation is noticeable if you sit too close to the image when using a large image size, so view from the same distance away as the projector (or further) for best results. Can be used in a dimly lit room, but much better contrast is achieved in a dark room. Sound quality from the built in speaker is surprisingly good in an average sized living room, and pretty loud at full volume, but would recommend connecting to an av system if possible. Down side?.... No batteries supplied for the remote otherwise nothing significant.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED
I have been looking to replace my old projector for some time but don't have loads of cash to spare. I found this one and thought I'd give it a go... It was bigger than I was expecting but that isn't an issue to me really. It was easy to set up - just plug in and attach HDMI to laptop - no problem at all- haven't tried any other connections as I don't need them. Projector was nice and bright enough for room with no blinds - it was marvellous when blinds were closed though... Focus was easy ..Keystoning a bit basic but did what I needed. I got a nice big projection image that was perfect for projecting animations. Colours were great. Didn't try any text or use the inbuilt speakers as I'm not using for this. Over all it does what I wanted and the price was great.

Fairly decent, good quality, useless keystone
I bought this for my room as I don't have space for a TV, and wanted to mount it to project either onto the wall or ceiling. The picture quality is not bad at all, but not as great as I expected. Nonetheless, the picture quality is decent enough to not complain after a while. Colours are vivid, and even during the day the picture is bright enough with the curtains closed. This projector works perfectly with the Fire TV stick, as it gets power from the USB port on the projector, and after setup you only use the Amazon remote to switch on/off and select what to watch. I mounted mine vertically to project onto the ceiling, with a resulting size of roughly 65 Inches. Unfortunately, the keystone is less than useless, as the picture blurs on the edges when you adjust to correct the image. The best is to project the image (as close to) perpendicular to the screen, not at an angle. To adjust zoom, you have to use the remote in the settings menu. Some reviewers complained about the noise, but it is fairly quiet, and you'll be hard pressed to find something more quiet. As the projector sits right next to my pillow, with earphones plugged in you can barely hear the noise from the fans, unless you pause the video. Further away it should be more quiet. Overall I am quiet happy with the setup, and have been using it for almost a month now.

Great 1st projector
I love the bright clear picture, I had the use of a Vankyo V600 and the picture is definitely brigher, especially noticeably the background in dark scenes. I also like the additional sound settings which actually do work allowing me to fine tune it to my needs. I am very impressed by this projector overall. However there is a small con for me, although I think the sound overall on the Artlii Stone 1 is very detailed, the V600 which is pretty much the same spec machine on paper, has way more bass, something I found surprising but pleasing, so the sound was more punchy which I much admit I quite like. Tbh I have been using it with my minirig speaker and I have a subwoofer, so that once plugged in totally negates that problem. To sum up, a great projector for a small price (got it in the sale for ยฃ30 off). Update 12/9/19. Ok I have now had the projector for a couple of weeks and wow! I take back my criticism of the sound, I hooked up my minirig and subwoofer and the sound is awesome, detailed and crisp but with plenty of bass and midrange, I am really impressed. The picture quality is excellent no matter what Ive thrown at it. I currently have paired it with an amazon prime ultra hd stick and its brilliant, I can watch pretty much anything I want in great quality. I love this projector and I am so glad I bought it.

Verry good for the price !
This is my first projector but overall I am verry pleased with it. The packaging arrive secured by sturdy polystyrene. It is a plug and play device (just press POWER choose the SOURCE and that's all) The noise from the fan is moore than ok. (have maybe the same level of noise of a normal computer) The image is more than ok for this price . I have space and I manage to have BEAUTIFUL PICTURE (MOVIE ) on a wall : 160 inch aprox 4 meters on the large side of the "display"). Bigger than that is "watchable" but hey... is 4 metters display that you can enjoy. Pro: Price Image quality. Noise (verry low) Simplicity (no warm up at the begin... ) Cons: Lens cap - is ok if you want to travel. If you keep the projector home you must rotate the lens to zero position to put the lens cap on. Basically the lens is inside. Each time you power on the projector you must calibrate/move the lens to focus the image (if you intend to protect the lens from dust and scratches). The cable is short (not a big deal...) You can't use this device with a hdd bigger than 2 terrabite (using usb port). The website where you have to sign in to claim your warranty ... You have no option to see your product that you allready buy (talking about this product) and they give you only 1 year warranty. I contact customer service and they seems to be verry responsive and I hope they give 3 years like is advertise. I intend to buy another one after I "fix" the problem with the warranty

First impressions: Quality product, great value
I bought this to mount on our ceiling, and haven't done that yet, so this is just a preliminary review based on setting it up in a bedroom to try it out. The picture is bright and clear, no issues at any size. I did what I could to make the room dark. It wasn't pitch black but the picture was really good even with a little light creeping in. The sound from the speaker was decent, although when we have it properly set up we won't be relying on it. The fan noise was a little more than I would have liked, but again, when it's above and behind us I expect it won't be an issue except in the quietest scenes. I should disclose, we were lucky buyers when we bought this projector, and got a free screen with it. I haven't properly set that up yet, and it was a nice bonus, but it hasn't influenced my opinion here. If I think of it, I'll come back and update this when the machine is fully in place in its new home.

This projector is quite suitable for PowerPoint presentations.
I am a retired civil engineer and I give talks regularly to history groups, societies, students and professional groups. Most of the venues where I give my talks have a projector but some do not. I have always been able to borrow a projector but recently I decided that I needed my own projector which would be suitable for PowerPoint presentations. I have not been disappointed with this projector. It is simplicity itself to set up. I connected it to my laptop very easily with the cable. The focus and Keynote adjustments are easily made without having to move the projector closer or further away from the screen. Images are clear and superimposed text is readable. The extreme corners of the image are slightly out of focus but I think this is to be expected and this does not detract from the overall image. The noise from the fan is noticeable but not enough to disturb the viewer. To close the projector down all that needs to be done is to press the Power switch; the projector and the fan both close immediately. Highly recommended for the price. Telford
