Destiny Comic Collection, Volume One

bungie has never let me down with their books. I love Destiny and I've been playing since day 1 of the first game and I've been all over Destiny 2, so its super satisfying to start buying the anthologies and this comic collection. Now about the comic collection itself- The pages are really good quality, thick and have a nice feel to them. The comics themselves are really well done and the cover of the book is perfect. A lot of good stuff is packed in here. Also really hoping bungie has enough for a volume 2 because I'm really popping off on my Destiny collection! Collecting all the books I can!

A true collector's item for anyone that loves the Destiny video game or the Destiny Universe. This was a labor of love from the folks at Bungie and the attention to detail is outstanding! When I opened the first page and saw the inside cover I felt like I was ten again reading a comic from Jack "King" Kirby. The enclosed code to redeem a unique Destiny 2 emblem was made to resemble a bookmark and will hold your place as you battle the forces of darkness. Collecting various stories from the Destiny universe with the main focus on Osiris, Ikora, Ana Bray and Cayde-6. Of course, some surprise guests do pop up. This was a great medium to build upon and the intro to the book clearly states this. This is a book created by people who grew up on comics and love them. Lore fanatics will also get their fill as they learn facts from the Destiny universe straight from the mouth of the character. I really enjoyed this format over the grimoires. Bring on Volume 2! This is one guardian who is very happy with his purchase

Some of the more cheesy lines in the Osiris comic took some flak and maybe rightfully so but overall aside from that these are solid reads and good additions to the lore of Destiny. The artwork is solid and engaging for the most part and I'm a sucker for any additional Destiny storytelling. Here's hoping for plenty more now that Bungie has course corrected the ship and become independent.

The different artworks were very eye catching and it shows lore that I’ve never known like Ana before Rasputin and more detail on how Osiris got exiled. And of course the dashing metal man Cayde. Artwork instead of words from grimoires is a nice change in pace too.

First of all, I had no idea there was a Destiny comic book until I was commissioned to paint a character from this game. I bought this book and it got to my home the very next day. That was a great start on this journey. Next thing that struck me was how thick the pages were. The pages are not on thin comic book paper. This book is printed on card stock pages. They are thick and the colors are vibrant. Great print quality. As far as being able to make art with the pages, the quality of the book was so good I almost didn't want to tear the pages out and plaster them onto my canvas. but hey, gotta make a living and all that. So it turned out, well, how do YOU think it turned out? You be the judge. 10/10 would buy again.

I have a lot of different comics in my collection, but this one is the best! The cover is incredibly beautiful) The pages inside are very thick. The print is bright and clear. The stories are very well written! The fights look sooooo dynamic! Although all the stories were drawn by different artists, they managed to maintain the general style of the drawing and colours - WOW! The book was well packaged. Delivery to Russia was fast)

I bought this comic book for my husband (who is a big fan of Destiny 2 and Bungie) as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves it. It comes with a code for an emblem in game which makes it a little more special. Thank you to Bungie for putting in the hard work to create this comic book, the reader can tell how much love is put into it.

The comics from a story point are not groundbreaking. However, it did gave quite some flavor to ingame DLCs. I'd say it's worth getting.
