Great product!
I use this laminator for toner transfer and I am very impressed with its performance. It does an amazing job in terms of consistency of the transfer to copper medium. Initially I thought it was a bit expensive compared to the alternatives that cost half as much but after seeing the results, I feel better for having spent more on this wonderful product. Its look and feel gives confidence on the quality of the build that will make it last for years.

Worked ONE TIME
Used it one time and the heater quit working. we opened the laminator and found that the wires for the temp sensor were caught up in rollers.

Good deal.
Nice and rugged. Works great. It took a week or two to receive it from Ontario, but it was worth the wait.

Not hot enough for PCB thermal transfer
I bought this laminator because it had been advertised to have the heat required for toner transfer in DIY PCB manufacturing, but even at maximum heat setting (with PLENTY of time to warm up) this laminator could not transfer even the tiniest amount of toner onto my (thoroughly cleaned and prepared) copper-clad board, I passed the board assembly through the laminator at least 30 times. In the end a $15 walmart clothes iron had to be used to finish the build.

Quality build
Quality of build seems quite good. Handles thick items. Have used the laminator to seal dry film on PCB Card stock. Have not been able to transfer laser print though so heat not that intense. Takes a long time to heat - like 10 to 15 minutes and as long to cool. Instructions mention letting laminator cool for ten minutes after using.

Bought twice and still sucks
I purchased this laminator twice, only to realize that if it lasts two years, you’re lucky. My first purchase was in July 2021, and it worked fine for just over a year. Assuming the breakdown was due to something I did, I bought another one, but it failed just as quickly. While it's more affordable than other laminators on the market, it's not worth the price if it doesn’t last.
