Worked as hoped.
Bought this for a long road trip to Texas. Worked as I hoped. I wasn’t bothered by the noise, and it did keep me cooler. I am buying another one since I am leaving the first one for my son to use. Worth the money.

Cooler behind!!!
I have a 20+ year old car. The air conditioner went out on it 4yrs ago. I really didn't want to put $1700 into a new system because of the value of the car. I try to run errands on 'cloudy' days and early in the morning since I live in the south, especially when it's in the 90's!! I've been riding with car fans I purchased from Amazon. I saw this when I was searching. I've riden with it in the hot part of the day three times now. I started out in the mid morning when it's cool, so the air coming from the cushion is cool. When I get in and the car is hot, it's warm air. It's the same with the other fans I have. The air is only as cool as the air it's circulating!!! The air from the cushion does however keep my clothes from sticking to me, so that is worth it!!! So don't expect it to work like an AC!! The cushion makes my car look a little better as I have grey interior! I can hear the fan that runs it, but it's not loud enough to be a distraction!!

Works well.
Works well, just uses cooled air from with in the vehicle.

Could be better
I drive a school bus - no AC. It seemed to work fairly well at first but it tapers off and doesn’t seem to cool as well after it has been on for a bit. And forget the low setting, that is like nonexistent. Wish it was as strong as being new

Keeps me cool!
Is it just me or is this thing actually making it feel cooler in my 2015 Mini Cooper? I thought the air coming out of my a/c wasn’t as cool as it should be. I would put it on the lowest setting blowing on high but I was not comfortable and my back and backside would be wet! Now I don’t have that problem and i swear my a/c is blowing cooler. I know, of course that it is this cushion. It really works. I use it on the low setting and it was 95 degrees out yesterday! I’m very happy with this product. Just wish I had know about it sooner

Barely works, doesn't feel high quality and doesn't make my chair anymore comfortable
Purchased this to battle the insane heatwaves we've been experiencing in Texas. I have black leather, so I needed something to protect the back of my legs and assist my car's AC in keeping me *relatively* cool. It's easy to put on, but I hated how it slid around when I got into my car. The fan sound level is noticeable, but not too loud. The air holes don't do anything-- if I push my hand onto the cushion I can feel some air traveling through it, but when I'm sitting on it it basically feels like nothing is happening. I don't know if it's because I weigh 215 lbs, but it seems like the air is being pinched off at my thighs and never distributes throughout the system. My car's seats are pretty comfortable to begin with, so I can't say this made my seat any more comfortable (like some other reviews). Overall, gets a 1-star because it fails to do its primary function (cooling) AND secondary function (seat padding). Would have returned if I didn't miss the return period.

High powered air!
I work out of my truck for most of the day in the construction industry. During the summer months, my back and "bottom" would always get drenched in sweat. But not anymore. This air conditioned seat cover keeps me nice and cool. And i really like how powerful the air flow is. To put it in perspective, I am usually wearing thick carhartt work pants, and I can feel the air flow, even when its only on Low mode. I havent needed to go to high mode yet, and I dont think I ever will.In terms of comfort, it hasnt changed the physical comfort level for better or for worse. In terms of noise, it is a little noisy, but its more of a light white noise in the background. I can still make calls with it on in my truck and have no problems hearing the other perso nIn terms of durability, I haven't had it for very long, so I can't comment on that. Even if I only get 1 or 2 summers out of it, thats well worth the $50 price.Again I highly reccomend this cover

Hardly does anything
The product pictures make it seem like there are 16 or so air jets in this ventilated seat cover, which seems promising: if the air is directed to specific areas it might actually be something you can feel.Unfortunately, the whole assembly is just a single 12V 1A squirrel cage fan, with its outlet sort of loosely directed into the bottom part of the seat. There’s not even any sort of duct to make sure the air makes it beyond the fan’s little dangling pocket. Beyond that, the cushion is one big open cavity with a porous surface everywhere on the parts that contacts your body. There's a plastic structure inside that’s helps keep it from being completely squished, so some air can always pass through. The result is that you can feel an ever so faint breeze under your legs and nether regions, and for me, by the time the air should get to the seat-back part, there’s nothing left. Maybe if you have bigger legs (I’m fairly skinny) and cover more of the seat surface so the air can’t escape down there, you’ll get a some sort of faint breeze on your back as well. Nada for me. Even when I’m not sitting on it, holding my hands over the seat, I can barely feel a hint of a breeze. And the fan is loudly at work, definitely moving.Even when I pull my shirt up I can’t feel anything on my back. The fan is loud, the texture is unpleasant, and forget about any sort of spirited driving, it’ll slide around on your seat as the included straps are super flimsy.Returning it as fast as I can. Based on how poor it is, I even misremembered the price I paid. Thought it cost half as much as it actually does. This is a piece of cheap junk and absolutely not worth the money. I don’t see how it could even work anywhere near to decently well with the way it’s designed.
