I remember when this product first hit the scene it has not changed. It is moisturizing to my hair what has been disappointing is the the sizing and pricing extremely over priced for the size . It doesn't make sense how 4 to 8oz. can cost 30 to 40 dollars.

I absolutely LOVE this product!! I decided to stop relaxing my hair in 2010, and I spent so much money on hair products that did nothing for my 4c type hair. It just wouldn't retain moisture, until I came across this product. I know that all of the ingredients aren't natural, but I don't care. Curly buttercreme has been keeping my hair soft and super moisturized since 2010. It's the only product that I use to style my hair, I don't need to use anything else with it. I love the way it smells, like fresh mint. It gives great definition as well. I'm so glad to have found it here on Amazon, the 16oz on Miss Jessie's website is $60.00, so this is a great deal.

I love Miss Jessie’s curly buttercream for my hair. It keeps me moisturized & it doesn’t have a strong scent. Since the manufacturer was out of this product, I ordered it from a vendor on Amazon. The seal on the jar was open & the product had been used. I paid extra money to have it, but there is no way I would put this on my hair knowing how evil people are nowadays since the package was open when I received it.

There's no reason for this to cost as much as it does in the year of our lord 2022. That being said, I love the product. There's not much on the market like it (with the right balance of oil and moisturizer). Still doesn't justify the price.

This product moisturizes my African-American hair like no other! I've used it for years. And now a 3rd generation of females in my home uses it (my 8-mo. old granddaughter)!! Once upon a time I could get it from big retailers like Target, Walmart & various beauty supply stores. Post-pandemic, Amazon is the ONLY place I can get this jewel of a product!! Keep it well stocked Amazon!!

The smell is a little strong (mediciny), but this product is the truth! It keeps my hair well moisturized. Oh, it's pricey as well.

I just received the product today and I am not impressed. I thought for $30 + it would be similar to the curly pudding but nope, I was wrong. The product smells medicated, the container is smaller than what is visually advertised on the site and the product is not worth the price. I'm hoping I'll have different results on wet hair but we'll see, I hope I'll be motivated to modify my rating for the better but as it stands now I am dissapointed and would not recommend this product based on the smell, price, container size for value, and consistency of the moisturizer. If using on dry hair try a very small size...less than a dime...less than less...to see if you like the heaviness of the moisturizer.

Item was as described, I have used this product before so I knew what I was buying.

Great product for managing and taming 4c curls. Also great for twist out styles.

The smell is rather strong but it goes away after a couple of hours on the hair and it really makes my curls look amazing and nourished!
