I put 6 of these under my granite countertop 12" overhand. They are sturdy and do the job. Don't bother paying a ton more for the same brackets from a specialty shop. These are perfect.

These were a decent price and very heavy/sturdy, but neither piece was square which is pretty important to the whole reason for having a countertop brace. I had to shim the bottom of both of them to make it work, which I shouldn't have to do. I had even put them on a new granite countertop upside down and up against a square to make sure it wasn't my base.

You will have to do some grinding if you want a flat 90 degrees for something hard like my granite. There are high spots at the bend made during manufacturing and the tips are also high. Not 90, a couple degrees off. Sturdy though

This product has a bulge in it from bending it to make it into a 90 degree angle. The granite does not rest on the length of it which is the WHOLE PURPOSE of this item. It also has a very unfinished appearance under the paint. There are gouge marks, a deep groove along the full length of one of them and marks on the beveled ends which appear to be from grounding it down but not smoothing it with a finer grit. Very disappointing product. Waste of money as it doesn’t serve it’s only purpose.
