Bible Study Guide for Beginners (The Bible Study Book) Kindle Edition

I didn’t realize that this wasn’t an interactive bible study. It is more of another book to read. I thought I would be able to answer questions and be part of the study , but it is just a book to read to better understand the Bible. Still great but not what I had expected at all.

I have taken to reading the Bible in a year. I find it hard sometimes to understand what I'm reading and bought this to give me a nudge. This book is perfect for begginers in bible study. I recommend reading the Bible in a year, in its entirety with this! It just summarizes key points which give you the nudge you need. It also has a short and sweet devotion. It suits my needs until I go into further Bible study in the future!

While the content is good, this book is full of grammatical and spelling errors, making it hard to read. I would recommend Know Your Bible over this at $2.50.This book is helpful for young and old learners alike, if you can get past the bad copy editing.

A good book to start your Bible study with. Breaks the books down and puts them in common language that can be easily understood. Provides a Devotion With discussion thoughts for each book.

I have the Kindle edition on my PC. Very informative for understanding the Bible. However, two sections seem to be omitted from the paperback---Bible Basics and Bible 101. Also, the paperback does not go into as much as the Kindle edition. Are these two different editions? I like the paperback. But I would like it to read the same as the Kindle edition. I got these study guides as I thought they were the same as this author published on line. it is NOT. let me skim though comparisons. paper does not have bible basics chapter. Paper version jumps straight from introduction to Genesis. but paper leaves out why it was written, key events in genesis, the creation of the universe, the story of Adam and Eve, the temptation, the first murder, the flood, the linage of Noah's sons,.. all the paper version has is 4 maybe 5 paragraphs on genesis. IT DOES NOT EXPAIN THE WHY. AT ALL. it is a brief summary of each chapter.. which you or I could have written. Apparently the author is cutting the on line version into several paper versions and charging about 10 dollars each. just a way to make more money, for a Christian this is an ACT that tells his Heart... DONT BUY THE PAPER VERSION !!!! ITS A CHEAT.

I expected more in the book. The book is more of the author's thoughts and not on the concept of chapters. Deuteronomy did not sst the stage for the nend for the Messiah as the author states. The book contains misspellings and writing errors. I about four chapters and would not recommend to a beginner, I think it is more of a boring introduction to reading the Bible. I have read the Bible from beginning to end and I've found no connection with this book.

Overall it’s a good book for beginners as the title suggests. There’s roughly one page for each chapter of the Bible which tells you the author, Year it was written, brief summary/themes, and then pulls out a verse for a short devotional and how we can apply it to our daily lives. There are some strange typos throughout the book (duplicate, misspelled, and missing words) which slightly makes me question the credibility of the book. But overall it’s a good place to start. I’m excited to dive into the chapters of the Bible now that I have a brief summary of each one. Update: I stumbled across a nonprofit called The Bible Project which has awesome (free!) videos on each book of the Bible that goes into a lot of easy-to-understand details of each book and how they fit in with the overall story of the Bible. Highly recommend checking it out!

I was not sure what to expect, as a relative new born again in comparison to others. I have read the bible and sometimes did not understand all that I was reading. However your book has helped me to look deeper into Gods word. God has surely blessed you and I pray he continues to guide you with your talents in Jesus Jesus Almighty name.

Very basic indeed. Not sure how much help this offers even the newest reader of the Bible.
