These are the most comfortable ear pads I've ever purchased period. Install was relatively quick and once I put them on... ...heavenly. I do a lot of studio mixing and the sound signature was changed slightly. Particularly in the low end. Only audiophiles will notice this at all though and even in my line of business is is not to the level where it is hindering my work in any way. I'm assuming this is attributed to the loss in tightness. I only mention it because there are some sensitive audiophiles out there that will care. There is a slight up curve in the low end and high end of M50 headphones and these pads flatten the eq slightly making them sound more akin to the M70 headphones (barely) and for engineering purposes, thats actually a good thing.

Very comfortable, very durable. They don't stick to the side of your face when it's hot and they keep my ears cooler actually. They block out a little bit of extra noise and I hardly ever have to clean them. The photo I posted is from 4 years after I installed them, I clean them once a year with a damp rag.

These are THEE most comfortable headphone pads. I'm in the recording studio 12 hours a day, and use them outside the studio the rest of the time - heck I SLEEP in them most nights, and they prevent my head and ears from getting fatigued and sweaty. In fact, they feel like your head is being massaged. Even more important, they improve the bass response of each set of cans in my Audio Technica ATH-M50x collection ( I have 5 of them.)Take it from this 30+ year music taste-maker / headphones superfreak . . . these velvet pads are sensational.Get these and thank me later.

They look and feel great but instillation is hard because they are smaller than oem. They will fit but they look "stretched". Some sound leaks ive noticed bass isnt quite as clear with these compared to originals

I purchased these to replace the pads on a turtle beach P21 headset . They fit perfectly but the padding in these are lacking a bit, not anywhere close to padding depth on original pads. These pads are still comfortable and soft I would purchase again for the other Turtlebeach headset i own.

I don't understand how everyone here is praising them so much. These are definitely both comfortable and stylish, however they will totally change the sound signature of your headphones. If you own a pair of Audio Technicas, you likely bought them because you wanted a certain quality sound. However, after I switched in these velvet pads, the headphones sounded awful. Bass sounded muffled, certain sounds somehow became much more sharp and metallic to the point of actually severely hurting my ears after only a few minutes of use, and so forth. I know it seems weird to have a product so well praised and run across a single review saying the complete opposite, but trust me for anyone who's debating whether to get these I would STAY AWAY. I returned them and just bought the standard replacement pads from Audio Technica again, even if they fall apart after a year.

I love putting on my headphones. Comfortable and very functional... Highly recommend!

Great feel and no overheat. Only wish the ear holes were bigger, but I've got big ears so can't blame them on that.
