Toss it in the washer like a boresnake?** A: I'll probably hand wash mine with detergent and let it air dry. The product info says don't put it in a washer or dishwasher (!?!!) because of harmful lead particles, etc. I don't want it in my washing machine. **Q: Would the 17hmr work for the 22lr** A: Likely would fit through the bore but probably would not do a very good job scrubbing it out properly. Action is dependent on pulling through in direction of rifling along with proper pressure. I would definitely go on and invest in one designed for .22 caliber. They do work very well. **Q: Which one for 22lr?** A: The same as .223. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great bore cleaner! *by C***A on August 25, 2026* worked first time!
