If it doesn’t say waterproof on the tube it is not. However I have never had any smudging problems with the non waterproof mascara.

Thickening mascara for all!

This mascara is a rather dry application which I know makes it possible to have no clumping, thickening, and long lasting mascara. It can be used for several coats without clumping for the thickest lashes. It stays on all day. It's the best! The plus is that there seems to be tons of mascara in each tube.
