Gets the job done.
This is the 2nd one that I've bought. It fits very well on my 2004 and 2008 Honda Civic, although it requires leaving the flaps on each end folded (i.e., a little bit wider than what's needed). What I've found works very well is to flip the visors up before you place the shade on the windshield. Once you've got it positioned, then flip down both the visors, which will serve to hold the shade in place. I think the quality of the shade is good. However, if you've got a BMW X1, it doesn't fit well, since it's too tall for the windshield. Overall, the shade is thick and sturdy, keeps the car noticeably cooler, protects against the UV rays coming thru the windshield, and lasts quite long. The 1st one I bought is still useable, and its been about 4 years now.

Works Great! but Not Dog Proof
I purchased this to help keep the temperature of my SUV down while sitting in the Tennessee sun. I noticed a difference right after I started using it, and getting in the car after work became a lot easier than it was before. I used this consistently over the summer, and it kept my car MUCH cooler. I didn't notice any issues with the fabric disintegrating in nearly 4 years of using it, so maybe there were a few faulty ones. This folds up pretty small and fits well between the passenger seat and middle console of my Yukon. Unfortunately, this sun shade met its end just a few months ago. I was cleaning out the car and mistakenly set this on the ground. My dog, probably mistaking it for something of great intrinsic worth, immediately grabbed it and had eaten 1/3 of it by the time I caught him. Well, 3 and a half years is pretty good for an $11 (at time of purchase) sun shade.

Works well, flexible, but stays bent
Decent auto shade for larger cars with full size windshields. Not for smaller cars. Keeps my car much cooler, well worth the price paid. Takes me about 10 seconds to put it up or take it down. The only beef I have with this particular model is the fit around the rear view mirror. It would have been nice to make that cutout just a wee bit deeper, so I don't have to bend the shade so much around the mirror. The shade is thin enough so it flexes around it alright, but I just don't like putting pressure on rear view mirrors (have had too many pop off the glass, and that becomes a pain to put back on again). Other than that, a good useful item.

Finally Relief from the Heat
The Max Reflector Jumbo Accordion Shade is a great shade for lowering the inside temperature of my car and reducing possible sun damage to the vehicle upholstery. This is a plus when living in the hot temperatures of Houston, which is also very humid increasing the heat index sometimes by 10 degrees. The Max Reflector Jumbo Accordion Shade fits my Honda Civic perfectly, which has a deceptively large windshield. The main problem I had when searching for a good quality reflector was finding a heat shade that fit the vertical dimensions as well as the horizontal dimensions, this one is good match although a little bit wide which is not a problem for me. It has a substantial and thick feel to it compared to the thin dollar-store type shades. It folds up nicely, even after many months of constant use. I feel confident about the insulation and appreciate having cooler temperatures inside my car on those 100 degree plus days.

Somewhat effective
I drive a 2012 Escape and while a little wide, it fits fine. It works to keep the direct sun out, of course, but the actual temp is only a few degrees cooler than without it. BUT in Austin TX in July a few degrees makes a difference. With this, the steering wheel doesn't burn my hands after an hour in the grocery store. It folds up easily and I just toss it in the backseat when not in use. For under $10, it's worth it.

Don't be fooled by positive comments from past - Not the same product it used to be.
Five years ago I purchased an Auto Expressions "Jumbo" sized accordion shade for the windshield of my Tundra truck. That one was a good product and held it's rigidity well. So when it came time to purchase a replacement this summer I made the effort to locate another by Auto Expressions and ordered two "Jumbo" size for my truck and one standard size for my wife's car. What I received are cheap, thin, flimsy facsimiles of the original Auto Expressions accordion shade I purchased in 2012. And the "Jumbo" size shades I received this time measure 54" wide instead of the 67" wide as stated in the Product Description section shown on Amazon. So not only is it much too short to span the windshield of my Tundra pick-up, but is also so flimsy that it barely holds itself up. These new ones state on the packages that they use suction cups (the original one didn't). However, the one package that I opened had only one suction cup and it was so malformed that it will never be able to function. As mentioned before the first Auto Expressions accordion shade I had lasted five years in the hot Carolina summer sun before losing it's rigidity, but I would be surprised if the new ones I just received would make it next until next Wednesday. I plan on returning these and will never buy anything from The Pep Boys - Manny, Moe, & Jack again. Made in China sucks and so do Manny, Moe, & Jack for selling this crap and for misstating the size.So beware folks and don't be fooled by all of the positive comments and high star ratings left for this product listing from years past. What The Pep Boys are selling now as aAuto Expressions - Max Reflector Jumbo Accordion Shade is not the same product as was being sold as such a few years ago.
