These Pilot G2 bold point (10) pens are the smoothest writing pens I have ever used. They don't skip and they make a nice legible bold line. The pen design and the smoothnest of the gel ink combine for a very comfortable writing experience. The pen writes like it is gliding over the paper as opposed to digging into it. The ink dries reasonably quick. I have a lot of different pens inluding the Pilot precise V7, Energel 0.7 and Uniball 207+, but I find myself preferring the Pilot G2 Bold point for everyday easy writing and reliablity. Great affordable pen.

These PILOT G2 Premium Gel Pens are hands down the best pens I’ve ever used. The bold 1.0 mm tip writes so smoothly, and the black ink comes out rich and consistent every time. The best pens!!! I work in an office and these are THE pen. They write the best the ink is so fresh and nice and bold it’s smear resistance and the flow is amazing.. I cannot recommend these pens enough !!!!

I'd used the 0.7 pens for a long time, I recently ordered a new 12 pack of the 0.7s and they were really, really light. I ordered these 1.0 pens and they are very similar to the previous 0.7 pens, weird. I love these gel pens but it seems, IMO anyway, that the 1.0 pens are the new 0.7 pens in terns of thickness and darkness. I'm OK with this as long as I now just order the 1.0 pens. They really are terrific pens.

I really enjoy these reliable pens. At almost 80 years old, seeing things from time-to-time can be problematic, especially when doing the budget and the bills. With these pens with their bold nib and black ink, I can see clearly what is what. The gel rollerball delivers smooth writing and clear markings. The gel ink is dark and dries instantly with no smudging. The barrel comes equipped with its own rubber padding so there is never any pressure point finger discomfort no matter how long you are writing. I buy the bold pens and really enjoy them.
