Keep in mind that the scale is 1:2,500,000. So this is half the detail in say the National Geographic's Adventure Travel Map Series (e.g., Uruguay & Paraguay).But this map is amazing for anyone interested in an area that covers a lot of history, including Paraguay's wars & border conflicts and Bolivia's wars & border conflicts.On one side:- All of Paraguay with Northern Argentina & Misiones, as well as southern Bolivia with Chile & Peru from Antofagasta to TacnaOn other side:- Northern Bolivia with southern PeruBoth maps show small portions of Brazil contiguous with Bolivia and Paraguay. & Misiones.The inset for Asuncion is rather small and covers only the very central part of the city. It is the same size as the insets for Potosi & Sucre that are all on the same side. That for La Paz, on the other side, is about 3-4 times larger physically.Given the scale, this map is best for the wide-open spaces of Beni & Santa Cruz in Bolivia and the Chaco in Paraguay and northern Argentina (e.g., Formosa & Chaco).
