Great Eagle 50/100/150W Equivalent 3-Way A21 LED Light Bulb 2700K Warm White Color (2-Pack)

Update (10 months later): I thought I had a problem as I started only getting one level of brightness instead of 3, that was of course until I checked the bulb and found it had loosened in the socket. I tightened the bulb in the socket all 3-levels were back. I still love these bulbs and have 8 in operation. So far NO FAILURES from any of them. This product has more than met my expectations for our table top reading lights and floor standing swing arm lamps. The lights are used daily. Original Review: Finally, LED bulbs have evolved to the state in which they can replace standard incandescent 3-way light bulbs. Earlier LED 3-way bulbs were not bright enough to come close to a regular incandescent light bulb. Now we have found some that work great and match the light output. We've been using these bulbs now for coming up on a year daily and have not yet experienced a failure. I'm hopeful that these will last many years to come. PROS: - Perfect for a reading lamp - Finally matching the brightness of typical 3-way light bulbs - Virtually no heat (wasted energy) - Resembles the color of regular incandescent bulbs (rich slightly golden instead of operating room white) - Color rendering makes my wood trimmer furniture look good - 3-Way operation - Light dispersed in all directions (yes excellent downward lighting where you want it) CONS: - Some may say too bright (wife made me take one out of her lamp)

We really like 3-way lamps and have at least one in almost every bedroom, living room, and family room. But the incandescent bulbs never lasted long. We often had lamps that only had one working filament, and delayed replacing them. Migrating to CFLs to save energy didn't help with overall illumination, since 3-way CFLs are like unicorns. To finally have dependable 3-way LED bulbs is the best way to have the adjustable light we desire and save energy. These bulbs appear to be all that they say they are. Although we've only had them for a short time, we are very happy with their efficiency and light levels. Longevity remains to be seen, but based on our experience with other LEDs there is little reason to believe that will be a problem. We'll update in the future if necessary.

These went right into my large end table lamps with no problem. They go on at full power which is great and I like the 3000K light as it isn't as yellow as a 2700K bulb but doesn't have that awful glare of the whiter bulbs. It's a lovely light. My sole complaint is the the box they come in isn't nearly sturdy enough for these very heavy bulbs (and they are HEAVY) so that when I received my package the bulbs had come out of their flimsy box and were just rolling around the carton. Luckily neither was broken but they could easily have not survived the trip under other circumstances.

These light bulbs are exactly what I was hoping they would be: very bright. I put them in lamps in my living room, basement, and home office. I can finally easily see everything in those rooms at night!

Seems like a well made product, it’s got some heft to the base. The color is perfect, not too cool but not too warm either. Nice and bright. The luminosity levels on these are better than the 3-way incandescent bulbs I replaced. Only thing is they’re a little tall. I was barely able to get them into the lamp base with a harp style lamp shade holder but it’s not difficult. I just got them which is why I’ve opted out on rating the longevity. If something happens I’ll make that change.

I purchased these 50/100/150W equivalent LED bulbs to replace some slightly dimmer ones (40/60/100W equivalent) in our living room. I wanted just a bit more brightness at the highest setting and these delivered! Based on another reviewer's comments, I had been concerned about excessive heat in the base, but find these are just warm to the touch at both the base and the globe portion. Good. The globe or bulb portion was significantly larger (maybe 20% larger!) than my lower wattage bulb though, which was surprising but fortunately no fit issues in my lamp. Plus they are are little spendy at nearly $10 apiece, but with time I expect they will pay for themselves. My original incandescent three-ways, while still just slightly brighter than these new LED bulbs, ran so hot at the 150W setting that the filament just wouldn't last very long, and along the way I noticed that contacts in the sockets were degrading slightly (now that's hot!), necessitating a less frequent but hugely more inconvenient replacement of the socket itself.

Great customer service experience. I will buy more from Great Eagle with confidence in their customer service. Got the bulbs, one worked exactly as expected. I see the issues described by others but honestly, not a big deal at all. I love the warm light it creates. Issue 1: Short (like fraction of a second) delay coming on. Does not bother me at all. Issue 2: When going from 50W to 100W, there is an ever so brief flash of extra bright light, I would guess less than 1/10 of a second, So quick I would not have noticed had not others commented on it. Does not bother me at all. I had an issue with the second bulb. I was going to return but Amazon recommended I contact Great Eagle. Amazon provided the contact info. Great Eagle was very responsive and addressed the problem remarkably fast. I absolutely recommend buying Great Eagle products.
