It does take some getting used to, but once I got the hang of it I never went back to tampons or panty liners. I go ahead and use it until the last day or two of my period even if I'm really light just to avoid a panty liner. Once it's in you don't know it's there. Easy to take out and replace in the shower so you can clean it. If you're a heavy bleeder you will need to change it about every 4 hours and I notice more leakage on day one. I chose this one for the black color and the little ring for easy removal. I also purchased a pixie steamer for cleaning at the end of my cycle.
