I purchased this as I am a fan of the hatchet massacre in the patriot. The feel in hand, balance and shape makes this a formidable weapon of choice. Looks good on the wall and has purpose. The bolt like hollow device on the back is a curiosity, fill with lead for balance?

Shipping was lightning fast. Of course I did pay extra for it to be expedited. The head is good as far as looks. It's the best overall feature. It's finished OK all the way around. What I mean is it's not poorly done. However, the handle is super wide at the top and shorter than it should be for a hawk. The balance is not good for a hawk as far as throwing or chopping. It's simply awkward. You can't do either because it comes 100% dull. It will take a belt sander to make it usable. It looks as though it's likely chrome plated. Certainly can be wrong, but that is what it looks like. It's clearly marked made in India. Some stuff from India is quality. Some garbage. Not sure I want to use it or send it back to find out. Have not checked to see pipe aspect works. I imagine it would as long as the holes connect. The top bead unscrews so you can clean the pipe. This is supposed to be a replica, but only the head would somewhat pass from the movie. I paid $100 "on sale". I feel at best this is a $50 movie knock off. I'm currently up in the air as to whether I should return it or not. My hopes were for something much nicer. Make sure you ignore the top and bottom pics, because the middle one is more or less exactly what you are getting. Though, I think it's handle is actually wider than what is pictured.

Horrible. No shine on the handle as pictured the B and the M are suppose to have black inside the engraving. All faded out half done looks bad. This is the worst replica I’ve seen in a long time. And I have a lot of movie knives and swords. Very disappointedAt the top between the handle and the tomahawk there’s a strange adhesive not glue but obviously been pushed on. It’s not clean product and it’s not made correctly. Sorry your stealing peoples money by selling this and you should be Embarrassed.

Blade isn't even sharp. Not worth the money. The wood is cheap. Not real wood.

Although the product is very nice then well put together there was one thing that I did not like about it.... they said it was made in the USA .....It is not it’s made in India.
