This fabric is PERFECT! I got 4 new colors! Finished bag handlers washing & drying too!
This worked GREAT!I made these really cute REUSABLE snack baggies. I started with just the blue, to see how well it worked for me. I’m fairly new at sewing. I’ve done a little here & there for like 20 years. But now that I’m disabled, I’ve REALLY fallen in love with sewing again! ‘‘Tis bag was my first time making my own Bias Tape, I see where I need to make a couple improvements. This is just my practice one for me. I also wanted to wash the finish bag to see how this fabric stood up with washing & drying. I am very satisfied! The reusable baggies are for a baby-shower gift (her shower was canceled due to COVID), I don’t expect she will get many gifts. SO I’m making her SEVERAL homemade gifts for her. This fabric, in a different color will also be the lining of a diaper bag.I’m also making SEVERAL as Christmas guests. My craftiness is inherited from my mom💗 She always sewed my siblings and my hollow even costumes, dolls, bears, some clothes, a beautiful 3 pc outfit for my 5th grade square dance we HAD to participate in. She can’t see well now due to compromised vision. But now she crochets 🧶. She is such an insperation❤️

Perfect!
Quick service. Excellent quality. Will definitely buy again from this seller.Note: used this on an interesting project: reusable covers for bowls to cut down on plastic and saran wrap. Keeps moisture in nicely and can throw them in wash. Added patches to know what shape they were ;-D

Very thin
Live the color, very bright! It's so thin though, I think that is why it was hard to work with? Being honest here, I just started seriously sewing since the pandemic started. It could be I need a special needle or something. The project came out looking ok but it needs to fit a certain way, and it ended up being so tight It was bending the form it is meant for (put of a child's toy box holding thing, not a parent so ai don't know what to call it) in which the original ripped. So it's just a sewn pile I can't use because I don't believe there is enough entra fabric I can let it out to redo it.

OK Material, but You Need to Know What You're Buying
I can't give a quantitative review at this moment, but if I don't do it now, I'll forget to express my thoughts on it.Buying fabric at a local store is nearly impossible, mostly because no store can possibly have EVERYTHING. At my local fabric stores, I usually get, "you can PROBABLY find what you're looking for online". Well, online on Amazon or otherwise, you face the same problem, YOU REALLY CAN'T TELL WHAT YOU'RE GETTING, especially if textiles is not your line of work or main hobby. This fabric seems ok. I can't see anything wrong with it at this point. I've seen ripstop before and I have limited experience with it. Working on some custom pants and a ton of buying this and that TO SEE IF IT WOULD WORK, I've come to know pants are roughly 9-12oz fabrics. I'm currently working on a gym backpack and I figured ripstop would work, and I don't need 9oz, so to scale it down, 1.9oz SEEMS OK, for something to make a lightweight, water-resistant backpack. Also based on the photo, it really looks like it would work, 1.9oz and looks heavy duty.Well, the photo is really a close beauty shot, which looks like you could make pants with it, but the 1.9oz says otherwise. However, it arrived today, after waiting over a week, close to 2 weeks and it's WAY to thin to do just about anything with. If it was softer, you might be able to make waterproof lingerie. Just kidding... I wouldn't make lingerie but it's true, this stuff is pretty thin and nearly transparent. it's not going to work for my backpack. Perhaps another reviewer said making kites. That's possible, but until then, I waited 2 weeks and I'm on the search again for another fabric for my backpack because this material gets put away in the Limbo box.So, unless you are quite familiar with materials and weights of each type of material, the photo may be a bit misleading.

light weight & durable
We made a knock-off beach shade/kite with the material. It was light enough to easily lift in a light breeze. Also durable enough to withstand heavy wind as well.
