My 5 year old wanted to be Spiderman for Halloween, but once she saw this costume, she decided to be Spiderwoman! I've had bad luck ordering costumes on Amazon before, spending $40/50 only to get, crooked seams and scratchy material, so I honestly wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived!It looked just like the photos, the seams secure, the color bright, the skirt was fun and poofy, and the overall fit was perfect! The material is smooth and shiny, with just the right amount of stretch. The quality is far better than I expected; it's not that thin, cheap stuff that you can see through when it stretches, like lots of Halloween costumes.It opens behind the neck, down to about the middle of the shoulder blades, and there are two small pieces of velcro to secure it. So it's very easy to get on and off, and very comfortable. Since the neckline opens wide enough, I was able to put it on by pulling over my daughter's head, as well as pulling it up over her bum. It came off both ways just as easily. So it would be good if your child had an elaborate hairstyle that you didn't want to mess up, you could pull this costume up over the shoulders.It was also simple enough that she was able to wear it to school. Her kindergarten class was allowed to wear costumes as long as they weren't too distracting to other students, as long as they could wear them comfortably all day, and sit in their desks with no problems. This costume checked all the boxes. Paired with leggings and a coat it was warm enough, and the mask was easy enough for her to take on and off herself.My girl.is a peanut, she is 5, but is only about 39" tall, and weighs 35 lbs. She still fits into a 3T in some clothes, and 4T in others, so I correctly guessed the 3-4T would be good for her. And it was perfect!The mask did have a large tag on it that goes right into the eye unless you cut it off, which I thought was a little odd, but that's nothing big.Overall I was very pleased with this costume. It was well worth the price.
