Massive disappointment
Cord was colored red, white, and yellow like 480p video and stereo audio are usually colored, which obviously doesn't affect functionality, but it was definitely not clear which plug went into which input for the TV. Not a big deal as long as it works, but I tried all nine combinations and never could get any video out of this. My laptop recognized it, but the TV did not get a signal at all. What a waste of time...

Works with MiSTER Pi/Component input CRT
Works perfectly on a MiSTER Pi plugged into component inputs on a Sony Trinitron CRT TV. Not out of the box though, you will need to configure settings on the MiSTER. Despite the colors of the plugs on the cable, these are not RCA cables, they are component cables meant to plug into the red/green/blue component ports on later CRTs/early HDTVs. If your TV has red/white/yellow ports and you want to plug these into that, it won’t work. If I have one complaint, it’s the colors of the plugs on the cables. They should be red/green/blue instead of red/white/yellow.

Buy This Cable Or Regret it Forever.
Literally the best quality vga to component cable I own. Performs actual magic the image quality is crispier then a bowl of dry rice crispy cereal. This cable right here was sent down from the heavens to show mortal men what top quality component signal is supposed to look like.

Unfortunately Incompatible With My TV
I purchased this in hopes of connecting an older model DVD player to an early version of the first flat screen televisions released, please keep in mind this was before the whole “smart TV” & internet enabled/capable television revolution, roughly around 2012-2014 time frame when the newer TVs were getting slimmer & inevitably in the dawn of becoming equipped with the necessary technology to become capable of achieving the necessary intelligence that today’s modern televisions inherited, long story short the capability of this cable is limited for older or “legacy” devices as in my case it didn’t even recognize a signal at first and then displayed a “not supported” message on screen. Bummer. The quality is fair, price is reasonable however the compatibility varies depending on the device or technology that it’s being paired with.
