Baked well, but not as good as Wilton pans
I used this springform tin for baking panettone. I divided my dough in half, and baked one half in this tin and the other half in a light colored Wilton cake pan that is 3 inches deep. The loaf baked in this Patisse pan rose higher, which made for a more impressive presentation. The actual construction of this pan is not as high quality as the Wilton ones; it seems like it would rust easily if it was left wet. When the springclip is opened as far as it will go, there is a gap between the layers of metal on the collar of the tin, but this isn't a big problem--just cosmetic. Also, this pan does not have a good non-stick coating, so make sure to line it with parchment.Overall, I'd recommend this tin as a nice reusable alternative to paper panettone molds, or as a mold for other breads. It's not 5-star quality, but a good choice for those who will use it just occasionally.

Not durable
The black coating on the pan easily scratches off and the hardware rusted after one use.

Good for Russian Panettone aka kulichi
I bought this to make the tall Russian Easter sweet bread called kulich, which is very similar to Italian panettone recipe. And here it is on my picture, without the icing yet, as I wanted to show the nice golden colors as it came out of the oven. Some tips for your success would be to grease and line the pan with parchment, and use wax paper on the bottom. Some customers claim their pan lost its paint on the first use, but mine is still good, probably because I used the parchment and the dough did not stick. Watch your oven temperature, this bread browned sooner than another kulich which was in a steel coffee can in the same oven at the same time, so comparatively, this lightweight black pan baked quicker. After it baked and rested awhile, I released the latch and put the pan on its side, I was able to get the bread out without damaging it. Again, use parchment for easy removal. I would recommend this pan for bread-dough recipes, not liquidy cakes as it is not entirely leak-free when I tested it with water. The price was much more affordable than an expensive panettone pan and gives a nice rustic shape befitting the Old World recipes. Also, the dimensions listed here are a bit misleading, the pan is only 4 1/2" high; and it is about 6" in diameter, but it still made a fabulous kulich that is going to WOW everybody on Easter.

SMALL AND NOT OF GOOD QUALITY
DO NOT WASTE your money on buying this product. It is not of good quality, it bends easily and it's very small.

Great multiple use springform pan
I bought this to make panettone and I have to warn anyone using it for that purpose that a traditional recipe in Italian will make way too much for this pan, so you should plan on scaling it back. That said, it works perfectly when you get the recipe right. I also used it to make a Great British Bake Off inspired raised meat pie that was stunningly delicious and came right out of the pan without sticking or leaking (see the picture). My wife was stunned that I managed that as a special treat for our anniversary dinner. Due to the multiple uses for it and the quality (relative to the price), I think five stars is fair, even if it is a little small for a proper panettone.

This mold is not as high as I wished for it to be, but I hope I can bake panettone just fine in it - I will use less batter in each. It is light and coated, which is good for baking. The spring works well. One of the pans came with the dent on the bottom. Overall, it is the best panettone baking ware I could find for a reasonable price.

Perfect Meat Pie Form
This pan worked great for what I wanted which was making a meat pie. It does not however hold water. I didn't expect it to but did test it for that. I really appreciated the higher sides and smaller diameter for my pie. This pan worked great and I was glad I chose this one.

Panettone as advertised
It's well made with good materials. It's a bit smaller than the actual panettone you find in the stores, but I guess it's the right size for home baking.

Panettone turned out well
It is smaller than I expected but it's my problem for not checking carefully the size. Besides that it's good. Panettone turned out well and did not stick to the sides.

Disappointing
The product worked great, but unfortunately arrived bent so the shape of the finished product wasn’t great.
