Doesn't fit much
The bag looks great and is made well; but the way it's designed, it doesn't fit much. I tried putting a MacBook Air in a soft case, a clipboard with a few pieces of paper and a 1' soft binder (not full) and the bag wouldn't close. It's made to fit a few very, very thin items. A complete waste of money. I can't even return it now since I've been trying to use it hoping that it would work somehow for me to carry work things. Also, one of the front clasps is deformed and it's extremely hard to close/open it.

Great Look; Bad Strap Construction
I bought this for my husband. It looks great and fits his 15" laptop. But one of the strap fasteners is a hook contraption and the strap keeps coming out of it causing the bag to crash to the ground.

Great bag except for the strap.
I got this bag as a present for a new job. It's quite good. It holds a computer with a pretty wide screen as well as other materials. The bag itself is well designed. But the strap is horrible. The clasps always come undone at the worst time. I began having trouble with the strap within three weeks. Kenneth Cole doesn't replace them. It is annoying that my wife paid this much for bag and we needed to replace the strap so soon.

Nice looking, fairly functional with a few complainst
The bag looks great and appears to be good quality. I have used it for 2 weeks now and am pretty happy with it. I would buy it again. It is real leather, so I could see how it could be not consistent in look across panels but mine came looking great and all panels matching (not shiny). My major complaint is the straps. The bag holds a medium amount of stuff, I fit a small laptop (13 inch), a few magazines, papers from work, a tablet, a power adaptor and wallet plus a few small accessories no problem. Once you load the bag with that much though, you cannot due up the front buckles. The buckle straps appear to be adjustable but they are not, they are sewn in place, so once you load the bag the buckles do not reach the clasps without distorting the overall shape of the bag. If you try to buckle the back snaps and the front buckles with more than a few things in the bag, it crunches the top. So I leave it undone most of the time. Other complaint is the top handle is a bit tight fitting to get your hand into and I do not have big hands. My biggest problem with this bag is that it looks so good, I don't want to take it on business trips for fear of scuffing the leather! :)UPDATE AFTER A FEW MONTHS: The bag works in better than I thought. Although it's still not simple to due up the front buckles, it is easier since the bag worked in a little. Overall, very happy with this bag. It has worn very well over the 3 or 4 months I have had it.

Just what I was looking for.
I bought this bag from eBags for $115. Great price for a quality leather bag and really quick delivery. The first thing I will say about this bag is that it is bigger than the description I saw. The description I saw said 13 x 9 x 4. I didn't see that until after I ordered and I was going to cancel because I thought that was more the size of a purse. I don't want a man purse. But then I saw another review that said it was more like 16 x 12 x 5, so I didn't cancel. I'm glad I didn't. It is the size of a regular messenger bag. I have seen some complaints that it is too big and some that it is too small. That should be an indicator that it is somewhere in the middle.Pros: It is absolutely gorgeous (I hate to say that about a man bag but it is a beautiful bag), stitching is high quality, leather is thick and of good quality. Very sturdy construction. For me, a nice size. I carry an iPad and some papers. Plenty of room for that. I like the compartment on the back side. Easy and spacious entry there. I put my lunch in there when I go to work. I have seen some complaints that the hardware breaks and is cheap. I've only had this a week, so I guess we'll see, but I've examined the latches and the hardware on the strap and they look pretty well done to me. In fact they look like very high quality. There is always a bad apple in the bunch and some people may overload, so who knows what that is all about. I also saw a comment that someone wished that the strap was leather. I think it would look a tiny bit better, but the strap is wide and strong with some padding at the touch point. That was important to me. I have another leather bag with a thin leather strap and it puts too much weight in one place and causes fatigue. This bag smells great too, nice leather smell.Cons: it is a little difficult to access the front compartment. This is partially because of the way it is designed and partially because it is new and the leather is still a little stiff. I think it will improve. But the flap over the top is not as easy as something with just a zipper at the top. Of course it is the flap that makes it look so good. It is also a bit heavy. It's ok for me, but I would have liked it a little lighter for travel. It's a trade off, though. The leather and construction are such a high quality that it adds a little weight.Summary: just what I was looking for. It is a very professional, handsome, impressive looking bag that is not too big or too small; well made, quality leather, for a great price. I highly recommend the bag. I love it.

Paint strokes and scratches! Really?!?!
For the brand and price I was really disappointed in the quality. The only positive thing I can say about the case is that the style was very nice. However the leather looked painted. Yes, painted! Like someone took a paint brush and slapped it on and brushed back and forth. If that wasn't bad enough there were two small, but very visible scratches. One in front and one in back. What ever happened to quality control? And to top it off, my husband's Lenovo ThinkPad didn't fit. It's within the parameters of the product description.I REALLY wanted to return it, but my husband being the nice guy that he is loved the gift I got him as is. He figures he'll probably end up scratching the bag anyway, the paint strokes doesn't bother him as it bothers me and although his laptop doesn't fit where it's supposed to be held, it does fit the pocket in front of it. Go figure...Maybe Amazon received Kenneth Cole's new, but defective product?VERY DISAPPOINTED...
