Tread coming off after only four says of wear.
My husband received these boots four days ago. He is disappointed That the tread has already started coming off the bottoms. For 200.00 you would think they would last better than this. These are definitely a disappointment.

Fit and feel great
I bought these because of the polyurethane midsole. I thought it would help alleviate plantar fasciitis pain. They are helping greatly with that. The fit is great and they are constructed very well. I think the integral sole will not separate as many glue on soles do. My only concern is the small diameter (1/16”) yellow nylon cord that attaches the locking eyelet to the boot. I understand this is done as part of the heel locking design but I worry about the longevity of that small cord. The boots are also rather heavy at 5.5# for a size 13 but I will put up with that due to the comfort and rugged build.Update 11/10/2019- The yellow cord mentioned above that I had questions about did indeed fail about 3 weeks ago. I will take them to my local cobbler to see if he can add metal hooks for a reasonable cost. No other complaints about the boots except the weight.

Very pleased
This is my 5th pair of Keen work boots . I work at a utility company and I'm on my feet all day long. This brand of boots definitely takes a beaten and keeps on.So I figured why not try the carbon fiber toe and I'm very pleased the fact that they fit perfect and like the other boots this brand offers feels like they are already broken In right out the box, this boot is also lighter then my last pair

Comfortable but cant hang with the big boy boots
One of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned feels like wearing a sneaker. The reason for the 2 star rating is I've had 2 pairs of these this year and the yellow cord that is supposed to lock your heal in snaps after a month or less of daily wear which renders the boots unwearable. Will be returning the second pair and not ordering from keen again.

Not too happy. Great customer service.
The boots look, fit and feel good but after only wearing them for three days the little yellow triangles on the bottom started falling off. I figured if that's going to fall off on the third day then how long is it going to take before the rest of it starts to fall apart. What's sad is the last pair of Keen boots I had lasted me over 2 years.Update: Their customer service responded immediately to my email and were very helpful. They assured me that they'd make it right by giving me a full refund. I'm definitely going to order another pair through them, just not the same ones.

Comfortable
I started buying keen on 2014 when I found them in Sears.tgey were expensive but I bought them anywa6and I'm glad I did.best shoes I ever bought.i own 5 pairs and these ones are exactly what I wanted .I own the st Paul's also and I love them.these shoes I love the look of them however I thought they would be blacker instead their almost a grayish black.but that's not a big deal.these shoes are very comfortable and lightweight like the st Paul's.i will buy them again.i did notice 1 thing with keens although they are comfortable their insoles are very thin so I went out and bought a 12 dollar Pair of Dr Scholl's and now they fit perfectly and it made a huge difference.i always buy my shoes in larger size so when I need to add insoles it makes them fit perfect

Vastly lighter than previous keens!
Pros:SUPER lightweight! These feel like light hiking boots and they have an athletic fit and feel. My go to Mt Vernon Keens feel like weights on my feet now. This makes a huge difference in the amount of energy you spend walking around a lot.Keen finally shortened the laces and these laces actually belong with this boot.Comes with the higher quality k20 insole. Previously only some of the non American built boots came with that insole. They seem well built and grip extremely well like any other boot from Keen. This new Konnectfit heel lock system actually works for me! The older design with straps would pull into the top of my foot and cause a lot of pain. I had to use a boot like the Mt Vernon that doesn't have it.I fit these boots in my normal Keen size. They don't run small like some Keen boots.Cons:None so far. I already thought that Keen's boots were light and comfortable, but this new design is vastly lighter and more athletic. This particular boot seems to have some reliability issues, but most people experienced problems pretty quickly. I'm a CDL A Foodservice driver and this job is super tough on boots. Keens usually last me 10-12 months, which is amazing, and I feel like these are going to hold up, but I'll report back if they don't.Keen could thicken the yellow Konnectfit fabric/lace/cord? thing and completely cover it with the rubber protective piece. Having some of the cord exposed looks cool, but I could see that being a problem in jobs that are highly abrasive to boots. The new Portland boot is American built and is this boot without the Konnectfit system or the yellow pieces of tread on the bottom.

Drop the cash, I'm sure you want be disappointed. I wasn't!
What's not to like? I'm retired military 21yrs ov service. Was leery on buying boots online because of size differences mainly. The size is perfect, 9.5 is a 9.5. Great looking, tough and best of all light, which is very important and built in the USA. I bought these really to wear as not to work in but something to wear everyday walking, that I didn't need to worry what kind of weather or needed a safety toe it's there or what ever situation.
