Summer of 2nd chances...
Life begins at 40... And with this trio life dramatically changed at 40! Don't we all wish we have a madam Zoya to give us a choice! I'm truly glad Madison got to rewrite her life! And although Ellie didn't choose to rewrite everything, she got a better deal & all because she changed how she looks at things. Lastly Leslie may not have chosen to rewrite her life but she found her confidence and a hidden talent!

Time travel
I enjoyed this book. It has an element of time travel but not in the usual ways you think about. I enjoy books about time travel so I decided to try this one. The characters were likable and the ending was complete.

Pretty good book...
The book was pretty good. Interesting. Not as good as "A Knight In Shining Armor" or "Legend" but this one is not bad.In the beginning of the book, the three women were acting like they are victims of circumstances, as if they were a leaf in the wind that had zero control over their lives and just go whichever directions the wind blows.I was so annoyed with that. But atleast towards the end of the book the three women came to realised that they were responsible for all the choices they made in life.People need to understand that the outcome of your life is based on all the decisions you've made along the way. I hate it when people don't take responsibility for their life choices then blames others and acts like the victim. That annoys me.In the beginning of the book these three women made bad choices in men yet they didn't take responsibility for their own bad choices. They made excuses as to why they choose these men. And they act the victim. I got so annoyed I almost d idn't want to keep reading but I'm glad I did because in the end, when they were given a second chance, these women did come to realised that everything that happened to them, was of their own doing, their own choices.

Romance With a Twist
I loved this book! It was magical and sweet! Interweaving the three characters' stories was original, kept the story moving. I was especially appreciative that one character kept the life she had because of the love she had for her family, and in the process of so doing, found that her relationship with her husband was fresh and romantic as ever!

I have read this book over and over!
This book is one of my top 2 favorite Jude Deveraux books! (the top one being Knight in Shining Armor, of course!)It is excellent...Don't we all wonder what we would change if we could go back in time and have a "redo"? And would we really change anything? I know many times I have wondered if I made the best decisions in my life...and what if one little decision had been different? If I had chosen a different college, I would not have met my husband. I might not have had infertility. I might not have adopted my daughter, or had my son, etc. My life, which is pretty darn great, would be different. This book explores those possibilities...for 3 very different women, who had 3 very different lives. And then they had to decide if they wanted to keep their new life, or keep their old life. What a choice! Who can resist finding out? If for no reason than to live vicariously thru them?Buy this book. Read this book. I think you'll enjoy it! I know I did, and I have loaned it out to many of my relatives, from my granny to my mom to my sister!(review courtesy of Kathy Smith, Robert's wife, who shares his account!)

Just AWFUL
I hate to be so harsh, but I paid a lot for a Kindle edition of this very poorly written drivel based on all the 5 star reviews (who are you people?!) and the fact that this author has sold millions of books. I liked the premise. I liked the story line, and the characters had potential. That's where it ended. I had to highlight a few paragraphs because they made absolutely NO sense. The dialogue is just awful, and the scenes are often messy in a way that you don't know where you are anymore. The whole thing is a mess, and honestly, I just can't read any more, even though it seems that things might be coming to some kind of point (?) in the story. I feel so ripped off by this book. I'm assuming it was self published (which is an insult to so many excellent Indie authors. I know!) because this would never make it past any half-decent guardian at the gate of any publishing house. It should have gone straight into the slush pile. Seems more like a second draft that needed a whole lot of polishing. Absolute rubbish. Wasted money.

Very unusual plot
I loved the fact that the plot was so unusual. It's great to have those ponderables of what if....? It was an interesting read because it dipped in and out of the three friends and their turn of events. Easy to read and the author is a great storyteller.

Time to change...
If you could go back and change the past, with the knowledge you know now...would you? And if so what would you change or keep? Follow the lives of three women who met each had numerous modern day issues allowing for a recognition to seek a sense of self worth by valuing themselves and their talent it makes a rewarding read with a twist of magical romance!

A 'feel good' read
Not my usual type of book, but one worth reading. The story is about 3 likeable women who meet on their collective 21st birthday, all have the world at their feet and everything to look forward to. 19 years on they meet up to spend their 40th birthday together, sadly each has made mistakes and all have regrets. They receive an offer - relive 3 weeks of their lives, and if they prefer they can keep their new lives.I won't spoil it for you and tell you what each chooses to do with this gift, but overall this book is a light, cheerful read and gives you something to think about for an evening or two - which 3 weeks would you choose?

Wishes do come true
Here is a story that I wish was real life. How many people if given the opportunity would go back into their past and rewrite it? Or at least one part of it? I personally would!
