Amazing product. Still have it after a few years and now that my children are older I am thinking to sell it. Good as new still. Color is beautiful, quality is good, easy to storage although large. There is no smell just what you would expect from wooden material. Easy to use. Readability is good. I would definitely purchase to gift a friend.

These are an awesome, easy to use, addition to spelling for early elementary children. Seem well made and sturdy. I do think they could have made it a bit smaller by decreasing the size of some of the compartments holding letters, but it wouldn't deter me from buying again.

Great aid for teaching children or students spelling, classifying letters, vowels, consonants. Do not smell at all. Sturdy. Many letters to compose a word or a name. Love it. Easy to use, and storage.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made towards my children’s early education. Following the Montessori model for learning to read, we focus on encoding (spelling) before decoding (reading) and this moveable alphabet is her favorite work. We use it alongside Montessori for Homeschoolers’ Montessori Reading Games Workbook 1 (available on Amazon), and she often wants to just spell words on her own. We can’t have it out when the younger toddler or baby are awake because the i and j both have small dots that would be easy to choke on. Otherwise it is perfect.

The wooden letters are amazing - very sturdy and accurate. I use the wooden letters to make learning materials for my shop on Etsy. A Montessori Shop is the name. I don't need the boxes. Where can I get just the letters?

This is a great product! However, it would even be better if the pieces were magnetic!

Affordable and durable movable alphabet! There are 10 of each vowel (letters are in blue) and 5 of each consonant (letters in red). The letters are about an inch long (photo for reference) with the exception of wider/longer letters like “m” and “y”. It is as pictured and comes with the sectioned box and lid. Note that the dots for letters “i” and “j” are separated and not joined together as one letter so keep it in mind if that’s not preferential to you (other movable alphabets out there have them joined together). This has been a great resource for our home and I know it’ll last a long time!! I have already referred so many friends and coteachers to this exact listing and already 4 of them just bought it!

This tool helped my 4 year old identify letters, write, and begin spelling. Excellent for visual and kinesthetic learners.
