Warped

I purchased this griddle relying on excellent reviews from the company's website. Unfortunately the griddle does not warrant the praise. It warped while I was cooking the second or third time on it (it did snap back into place once cooled). The spacers provided for the ceramic top did not come in my original order--I needed to ask the company to send them, because they had been forgotten. But the spacers shift around, as does the griddle -- very annoying. Heating is not consistent throughout the griddle. There are many different hot/warm/cold spots that make cooking challenging.I could have mostly overlooked the foregoing, as the griddle does have the advantage of providing a very large cooking area. That benefit is, after all, the reason I made the purchase in the first place. But to add insult to injury, I received an invoice from FedEx a month after having received the griddle, charging me ~$73 for GST, Clearance, and Advancement fees (whatever those are!). This was entirely unexpected, and should have been advertised up front.
